Have you tried Maxis Fibre before with FTTH (not VDSL)? You'll be surprised how it performs better than TM.
International connectivity is much better. There is no P2P restrictions.
Last mile is only TM, international connectivity is entirely different.
They are not priced at same price and speed. Maxis has the upperhand.
RM89
Maxis gets symmetrical 30M with no remaining months contract
TM gets only 1/3 upload speed which is 10M and you have very unfair remaining months contract
RM149
Maxis offers 300M plan with no remaining months contract which is a one stone kill 2 birds strategy
TM forces you to subscribe their HyppTV at RM199 with unfair remaining months contract to subscribe the 300M plan
Should you decide to take the cheaper RM159 with TV Bundle, you're only getting 100M with it.
Both expensive TM plans above RM159 do not have UNLIMITED call plans. They are restricted to only 600mins.
We've not arrived at supplied hardware too.
Maxis supplies a neat dual band TP-Link C5V Router while TM only gives crappy and ugly D-Link DIR-842 router with 4 ugly sticks sticking out.
In the lower end segment sub RM90 market, Maxis gives 3X the upload speed with improved latency
In the 300M plan, Maxis is there to snatch their old Unifi customers coming from the RM150 segment where they refused to Turbo upgrade their speeds with undisclosed selective policy.
Worst their
REMAINING MONTHS early termination policy is a real turn OFF for existing re-contracts and new subscribers.
Should you decide to terminate your line within 6 months you need to pay almost 4X the termination costs which Maxis subscribers only pay a mere RM500. With TM, the penalty is something closer to RM2k even more if you subscribe to their higher tier RM129, RM159 or RM199
My dear TM salesperson, have you studied carefully why Unifi is losing their edge and are losing marketshare?
With even more players joining the HSBB network, it'll even get more intense.

VDSL2 covered areas also allowed to subscribe to 50M plan at best effort speed which is better than 30M plans

LOL RM80 for symmetrical 40M
Haiz... too bad this is only in West Malaysia. I can totally agree with that but in Sarawak. There are only 2 options. It's either TM or Maxis. The thing is TM is trying to restrict Maxis to enter into new areas and old areas. Sarawak has potential to have new competitors but they are relying on SACOFA to implement fiber cabling. Then the new companies will just rent SACOFA infrastructure to provide the services. It will take like many months for them to properly implement the infrastructure before they can allow it for commercial use. I am currently using both Maxis and Unifi and Maxis has the upperhand here. A lot of people want to apply but TM is trying to slow them down. Hopefully SACOFA can be fully implemented as soon as possible.
