folks, reported before on my 800mb is only getting around 600 and technician came over my house and did a test on their own laptop on mozila firefox and they manage to get over 800... and they claimed that we cannot use other browser to do the speed test... and i strongly felt this is not right... as previously i'm able to get 800mb and they told me its because chrome and other browser more latest version and more heavier... so speedtest will show slower... i was like WTF.

I am going to make MCMC complaint on this as i think they are seriously throttling our speed.

Only with speedtest.tm.com.my.

I can never get that with speedtest.tm.com.my with Chrome or Safari. It'll fluctuate between 600-750.

Are you on a Mac?

TIME's results are always consistent. Around 850. Occasionally it goes up to 900 but I think it's just a glitch..
ovh.sg is also quite consistent and is almost always the fastest of the lot

It's not new line,  upgrade from Streamyx. I remember previously someone in this forum said he receive mail from TM to inform about the rental charge for maintaining copper line. Guest it's time you port that copper line over and forget about paying RM25 monthly.
Are you on fibre or VDSL? If fibre it's possible, try to call 100 and check.
This is indeed good news. The 300mbps pricing is attractive enough.

When you switch ISP then have to get a new number, unless in future TM can allow port over of landline numbers. Not sure if you can reapply the terminated unifi number through copper line or not.

Today Kajang to OVH SG. Quite OK but upload not full speed and fluctuates 100-150. On 175.141.x.x


Klang Valley sites are back to full speed.
