Shops at BJ really lousy.
If you really need to get something fro BJ, make sure you go to those more reputable ones.

Seriously, if you're from Sg Dua USM area, you would know that Makson should be avoided.
By the way n305er, i never seen you mention Pristine Wireless. IMHO, pristine service is way better than GZ and others. This is from feedbacks i get from my other friends as well. So if anyone needs to get stuff from BJ, either drop by Pristine or GZ(I personally dislike BJ GZ) @Phoenixwunin I was wondering why you never went to One Stop? SHops in One Stop which are ok, Pristine, GZ and Activextreme. Btw, for high end stuff, find a fellow forumer Karom. He's from butterworth, so you might be able to COD with him. Saves you the hassel to find high end stuffs in shops. |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jun 20 2007, 12:53 AM) Wei wei wei. Huhu...Shawty mad liao... This is not kopitiam area lar. Stop all this talking about "Char Bor" before i report to the mods. This place is for discussing about computers shops at penang la. Char Bor also closly related to computer shops mar...U know those shops with Sui Char Bor sure get veli veli high rating from customers one... Joking only...This will be my last post about Char Bor, so those who are interested can drop by Kompleks Bukit Jambul, sambil sambil visit computer shop, can also visit those Char Bor staying at BJ Court. Wakakakakakaka.... Btw, Guys, back to topic. Recently i realised some major pricing changes in Penang shops. Their prices are now much lower than they used to be. Now, it seems like there is not much difference between KL and Penang price. Not like it used to be where price of single items will differ up to tens of ringgits. Now, very marginal only. Prospeed_ballz, Ipoh to Penang veli fast oni mar, one and a half hours. Just come Penang find the stuff u want lar. But u said Ipoh shops only sell 1-2 brands, i got an Ipoh friend who managed to find DFI motherboards in Ipoh during NForce2 days...I even have trouble finding them in KL. |

QUOTE(darnell @ Jun 23 2007, 12:04 AM) I compare the Swiss Pac pricelist with others Computer shop in Penang before. Ya, Swisspac more expensive. And also yesterday i happily recieved my Pioneer Sata DVD burner from arc_archive. He got it from Swisspac and never used it, and guess what...I found out it's a faulty drive...LOL, gotta send it back to Arc_archive for my refund and hope he has some fast RMA with Swisspac. I usually just go, and see. Never actually bought anything there as their prices are rather high.QUOTE(Phoenixwunin @ Jun 23 2007, 02:29 AM) cheaper maybe?? MSI...sucks...Been anti MSI since the T-Bird days. I had an Epox during those days and my friend had an MSI. My T-bird 1000 easily clocks to 1.1-1.2..His T-bird 1.2 on the MSI, when increased FSB by 1mhz the whole bios crashed and board sent for RMA. They do have the OC features, but it just doesn't work. Since then, i was Anti-MSI.(though i'm still using one, check my siggy) Lol...Quality wise... I don't know but my friend do have some 'nightmare' experience with his MSI board... QUOTE(Skylinestar @ Jun 23 2007, 08:09 PM) in selangor also like that... It's normal. Easy concept, apply the rules of demand and supply from economics. Where demand is low, means market less competitive, so prices tend to be higher.if u buy pc stuff in LYP, price is ok. if u buy from sunway pyramid....nose bleeding...some stuff too expensive. While the price change in Penang is not due to the increase in demand which lead to changes in copetition i guess, it's just to save the dying Penang computer business. How many shops left har in Prangin? |

May be need to try other brand when upgrade later after 22 July If you wear the proper gloves, it prevents static electric as stated by AceCombat. And also the most important thing, finger prints. Not only aluminium case, even some cheapo case nowadays come with gloss finish which will show fingerprints very obviously. I've got loadsa fingerprints on my Barton 3200+ rig thanks to the gloss finish. Btw, throw away ur MSI lar, then take my DFI so i can upgrade to AM2...lol... My major concern is about fingerprints. Lol...yalor. fingerprint really a big issue Added on June 25, 2007, 9:01 pm haha.. I plan to upgrade to C2D after 22 July alrd. but.. how much you want to let go ? I think DFI is a high demanded in Lowyat.net.. U can easily sell it. Really hate those ugly marks on the casing... Luckily my main rig is not black and not gloss... DFI, hmm, high demanded, but not the 939s i think. I guess it will just be with me till it RIP. |
