i had fully and permanently unrooted a tx5max using SUPERUSER app.

but many reviews warn of risk of bricking box... so, be careful.

i am not sure about tx6... maybe szecheng can assist.

My box TX6, should work on TX3 too
I did not use superSU to auto unroot
I just manually delete these 3 files

1./system/bin/su
2. /system/xbin/sud
3. /system/xbin/su

Installed astro apk from apkpure. it works.
i didnt try unifi tv app coz i use hypptv box for that



you may check & delete these if you find any

my Tanix TX6 can watch AOTG latest version and Unifi@playtv latest version. my TX6 original not rooted box.

I think it's free if you renew the 12 months Unifi TV's contract. This STB has higher performance compared to the previous white one. New features (including apps (Netflix & Dimsum), DVR, 4K, Dolby Digital and new channels) are expectedly integrated into the new STB.

Quite surprised with this news since TM are quiet without any news on Unifi TV for this year. I hope it will menjadi. Not just fake hope. And hoping more incoming channels next year. Btw, where did you get this? Im pretty curious what this box can deliver and hoping it comes with a totally new user interface.

someone from TM upload at fb group. they told me, this box android 9 out of box and 4gb RAM.
