Once u out of MY, TM can’t do shit. Anyway, it is not TM chasing or calling u. Mostly debt collectors. They will use threats to force u to pay. But since u already outside, no biggie. At most u won’t be able to subscribe to another broadband package later on.

QUOTE(DarkCh1Ld @ Jan 18 2019, 08:22 AM) the reason why i posted this because maybe i have an opportunity again to work in Malaysia, same with my previous housemate. so thats it? she just cant subscribe to another broadband if later on shes back in Malaysia? how about bank accounts (credit/debit)? is it included? im just worried that we cant open a bank account once were in Malaysia again. it has been more than 2 years now since it happened but TM still send me emails. The debt collectors will file some charges against her but won't affect anything apart from being a nuisance. U can still open bank account or continue to work peacefully. I will terminate the MY phone number if I were u. Otherwise, the debt collectors will bug u forever.

TM like all telcos here don't care or bothered with early cut off because they can milk more money this way.
Other countries only foreigners can subscribe to prepaid service. Myself also experienced the same problem last time with TM and Jaring Wireless. Contract expired but they kept the account active until it accumulated into thousands of RM before selling the debt to a debt collection agencies.
This way, both telcos and debt collection agencies have money to collect.
