I noticed in the device manager of my desktop theres a driver missing which is : PCI Simple Communications Controller

This is the hardware ids : PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C3A&SUBSYS_8C3A1849&REV_04

Not sure if this is the correct place but I'm thinking of replacing my CPU from Sandy to Ivy but I (may) need to update the bios.

I did update bios once before but not sure how to check whether it's the correct one.

Download driver booster and run. After sometime they will give you your updated software just click on it and install.
