Eventho i really hate notch, be it waterdrop pr whatever fancy name they put to justify it, but looks like gonna close 1 eye for this phone due to the fact that it has USB-C, kinda desperate to replace my laggy Redmi 5A but couldn't find suitable mid range phone that has type-c cable so can share cable with wife

I'm interested. Does anyone know if the Note 7/Note 7 Pro's waterdrop notch can be hidden, and if they come with any form of OIS?

It would be interesting if RN7 Pro is using SD6150 or better if SD675. That would up the game again as SD660 is kinda old already.

Most certainly there will be an option to hide the notch else there would be easy third-party apps or extensions or ROMs to do so since this can easily be accomplished software-wise anyway. As for OIS, not a chance. An OIS based camera would be very costly and would certainly jack the price up significantly for such a mid-ranger.

Good point and information.
Maybe this hint that software will limit it to 12MP output ONLY. (48MP 4 pixels combine into 1)
Just a possibility to ponder about
