Got redmi note 7 3gb/32gb during 11.11 sales. The camera is not as good as reviewed. It is especially bad quality when indoor and at night.

Is the 3gb variant using inferior camera? Or the phone memang have lousy indoor quality?

The camera is the same for all variants, RAM/ROM. Xiaomi's stock cam almost always perform below par results. Good thing is that camera2 api is enabled out of the box so you can install Gcam. Can search the forums to look for what version is best https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-7/themes

RN7 = samsung isocell gm1
Rn7p = sony imx 586


Btw, bought another clear case. This time the camera hump is a tiny bit higher than the case.

hi all, anyone encounter back camera glass broken? do I have to change the whole cover?

Don't remember if I have asked this here before. But the phone is having issue with low volume and broken voice during calls. The other side recipient will not be able to hear properly. Keep getting broken voice and lots of background noise.

This has been the case since day one using the phone. Wondering if I should get the phone checked at SC. Or if there is a fix for this.

Bought a matte blue light tg. Display abit yellowish after applied. Normal for blue light tg?


Edited. After a week of use. I couldnt get used to the yellowish tint and scrap the tg. Dunno because of the matte or blue light. But the tg felt so good. Very very smooth.

after latest update my camera always hang and need restart to work again any one have this problem?

What's your latest software version?

global 11.0.6.0

I'm on the same software version but don't have such issues with my camera. Maybe try a reformat and see if it solves the issue?
