i am planning to visit yogyakarta with my family in Dec. After visiting borobudur and the surrounding area, I'll proceed to bromo follow by ijen. Finally spending 2 nights in Bali.

I found quite a few sites offering 4d/3n tour. Do you know any reliable tour agency?

They are full of local travel agency at Malioboro area. Specially Jl Sosrowijayan.
You can Hire a driver (12 Hour). You can go any places you want. Price range around 600k

You are aware that dec is rainy season right?

Hi sifus, im going to yogja next week (5D4N).
Some of the places like Borobudur, Prambanan, ramayana dance, merapi lava tour, goa jomblang.

Question:
1. Is it worth it to pay extra to go in early for the sunrise at Borobudur?
2. How is the Merapi Lava tour? Worth it?
3. Ramayana dance?

I'm not aware. My family can only travel during school holidays.

1. If raining season. Not worth. Can't see sunrise. all block by thick cloud
2. For me not worth, full of dust. back to Hotel when I bath, water are grey colour. Jeep ride was fun but nth to see ( Just a old house full of skull and a empty bunker).
3. Ramayana dance was good if you are culture + history kind of traveler.

Goa Jomblang are excellent!! Extreme!!!

But now is not raining seasons, right? Maybe I'll just save my money for some other stuff..

you can find many travel agancy in jl. prawirotaman 1 and 2.
if you want overland from yogyakarta-bromo-ijen-bali, i have recomended driver.

In this week, no rain in jogjakarta
waether is very good
same people say, now raining season is stop.

if you like adventure, you can visit kalisuci, goa jomblang, kedung pedut, air terjun kembangsoka etc.



If you are love natural beach, must see many beach in Pacitan, just 3 hours from jogjakarta city.
