QUOTE(Roman Catholic @ Oct 10 2020, 07:27 PM) Impressive figures. wira 1.5 carb, didnt record the mileage for battery, maybe less than 10k However I am interested to know what is your vehicle's make and model. If you had the mileages recorded for each of the used batteries, that would be excellent. other car Persona VVT battery since 8/2016 (original from factory, brand RAMCAR) mileage 9600km volt meter 12v engine off, 14v engine running. drive once every week 60km both car low mileage |

QUOTE(Roman Catholic @ Sep 11 2021, 06:01 PM) Nice info. no struggling, but according to google... minimum volt 9.6... mine 9.26v, gonna buy same brandDo you find the battery struggling to crank your vehicle in the morning ? It is a 5 year old battery, so likely it will be on its way out. QUOTE If the battery voltage drops below 9.6 volts during the test, the battery is BAD and needs to be replaced. Top 2 looks like before driving The bottom 2 looks like you either have cooked your battery tester or you a voltage stabilizer therein when tested. last photos, battery test during engine running This post has been edited by croydon: Mar 24 2022, 06:41 PM |

QUOTE(Roman Catholic @ Jul 20 2022, 06:50 PM) Wow 6 years with only 14,000km on the clock, that is friggin impressive to incur low mileage and yet to lasts for 6 years. mine never connect to battery charger or jumper, usually will open hood for 4hrs after 1@2hrs driving to cool down engineAre you constantly connecting the battery to an external charger ? Also are you staying in Cameron Highlands or Genting ? live in town, parking not easy to find. always use motor for daily, car for weekend 2hrs driving |

QUOTE(dannyw @ Jul 28 2022, 05:12 PM) Century still able to get about RM300 for the same model. if like that mine also can last longer... playing radio for 30min couple of times with engine off... the next day can start normally without problem When I reach the shop, I purposely on the radio with engine off, then turn on the headlight and start the engine, still able to. And the feeling of starting engine is still strong. Based on my past experience still can use few months. I do understand the battery not good in holding power, can be die off anytime. That reading is from the battery test device which i snap the photo for reference only. No other report, just a normal battery shop, bro. remark - battery already 6yrs, new iriz/ persona (keyless) can play radio 30min without turn on switch after add 360 camera earlier this month, sometime meter started to show battery low warning before engine start, the reason i got myself new battery for backup ![]() |

QUOTE(Roman Catholic @ Nov 1 2022, 07:38 PM) Actually some time ago, manufacturers did produce cars with auto-lock as I was informed however this feature was subsequently removed. Reason being during an accident, it will be extremely hard for the fireman to help survivors or bodies from the wreckage. Of course the bodies did not matter but if there are survivors, then every second counts. iriz still have auto lock since 2014 - 2022... car manufacturers need to add crash unlock together with this feature ![]() |
