Haha just few days ago you said Astra still healthy and lasting, so fast KO..

Anyway, I also just replaced my Astra DIN55 battery, I think 2 years 8 months, still can crank start, but workshop test found the CCA dropped to 330 something, SOH only 35% like that while SOC remains 100%. Went battery shop test again showing similar CCA so decided to replace it.

So far, something improves after battery replacement. My car since bought used last year, after cold start doing reverse, the engine still vibrate like misfiring. Drive forward also will have but not so obvious, after change battery I observed for 1 week, no such symptom happened! Weird I also cannot explain...
*
Nowdays hard to tell, last week everything seems fine then last sunday when driving battery indicator blinks, then go to the workshop done a alternator replacement, then back to normal, yesterday went to hulu langat for breakfast my car cannot start, call bateriku, they said my bateri k.o, so replaced with astra battery

Now battery new, alternator also new, money fly like no tomorrow

How long is the warranty for that "new alternator" ? 1 month or 3 months ?
*
3 month 😌
Btw the emd makmur sdn bhd, google it, it seems a factory for industrial equipment supply, did they sell car battery? It's a factory not a shop or a workshop

Aiyoyo technical glitch bro. Please call this number instead 0111 666 6800. I had spoken to the guy and he will help you out.

As for technical glitch, it's meant for other purposes instead. Thousand apologies.

Back to the 3 month warranty new alternator, which is really just a reconditioned alternator, hopefully it's working properly otherwise you will be thinking why batteries don't lasts. Sorry to break this to you, just like when new customers look me up but so far I have not come across any reconditioned alternators that can perform like the original stock alternators that comes in a new car.
*
Ok noted, may i know his name, is it the same company emd makmur?
It's okey, basically i knew it's recond alternator as the label on the alternator got some 3rd party company label on it, rm300 plus only.. If toyota original got toyota label on it, owh well got no choice that day on sunday, that's the only workshop open.. 😌

nope, the car was at kampung and never take care one. I saw a few videos on YouTube, by repair mode for 24 hours can restore his car's CCA rating, hence I try. In my case, maybe with an unknown brand battery, plus the car is regularly parked under the sun, making all the battery water inside the MF battery dry already.

Will bring this old battery and old cooking oil to Pusat Kitar Semula Komuniti Putrajaya to get a few Ringgit, perhaps
*
Regular park the car also not good for the car and battery, previously my triton also like that, no choice but need to change the battery, now already sold the triton, less use what's the point keeping it

If it's the original Panasonic CAOS Battery that is really Made in Japan can but shipping batteries all the way from Japan will add substantially to it's final selling price. There was a company who started importing Panasonic CAOS Batteries immediately the moment the production of Panasonic Batteries in Malaysia was terminated but with harga Yahudi, I am not sure what happened to that company eventually.
*
The cost price getting very high and less demand i guess, so that company also stop importing the panasonic batteries for car

Yes I think that was what happened to that company. Last time went online, ini out-of-stock, Itu out-of-stock. Aiyoyo.

Once you sell at ridiculous price, you won't last long in the business, of course need a profit but return customers very important plus a trust from customers also one of the key to success

I don't know the costs of shipping from Japan to here, but assuming the company didn't mark-up on shipping charges, the shipping costs plus all other associated fees, I presume would surely push the final selling price for each battery. What I would consider utterly ridiculous would be, if these imported Made in Japan batteries CANNOT even match what my clients are getting out of our batteries. At those prices, these imported batteries have to be far superior and where superior is concerned, there is also added extra costs. For example a better quality battery will always costs more than a lower quality, although it's made in the same factory.

Very true, return customers is very important but being a sob distributor myself, I will drop any clients who goes against me for stupid reasons. Clients only have 1 chance with me. I don't give many chances because that will bring more trouble for me to solve. It looks like I am limiting my business but for me, success means being able to educate my clients properly and when they have achieved the results, then I will have repeat orders.
*
That's very true, limiting your client for a quality results, not worth entertaining problematic one in the end didn't achieve anything, respect that

Anyone that familiar with sodium-ion battery? Better than lead acid battery?

Aeson Power launches automotive Sodium-Ion batteries in Malaysia. Longer lasting up to 3,000 cycles, backed by up to 3-year warranty

73% lighter, good for the car.. Currently using 80D26L, so i wonder how much does it cost for this new brand, im willing to pay extra rm20-30 for extended warranty, total 3 years

Since my car also kuat makan battery, the most can last 2 years 2 month 10 days, so the chances very high for me to claim the warranty πŸ˜…
