anyways, i pasang Q8 Techno 5W-30 earlier, gonna stick to this oil for three or four service intervals....surprisingly, the guys said its not a full synth eventhough its written 'synthetic motor oil' on the bottle...and they put my interval at 5000kms again must-check online catalogue

btw, its the most wangi oil i've ever smelt! perodua's SC oil got bau hangit, like ikan kering, Eneos oil smells......oily. this Q8 smells like honey, nearly 80% like honey, save for that masam afterhints....dunno whether can drink or not

What the? Smell engine oil pulak? Never tried Q8 before man.....still using my 'free' Idemitsu's Eh kev, do you know who supply engine oil to BMW and Merc? Anyway yesterday who won the Go-Kart championship?

usually it will write synthetic blend
thats considered semi, but its good enough for 7k kms
real syns will have 'fully synthetic' written all over bottle, takut orang tak tau tu

why waste your money to change @ every 5k km when the oil's still good?
if you doubt about it, change the oil, collect the sample, do an UOA

anyways, in europe, they are stretching the service period to 15-25k kms already, its better for the environment and the wallet too
you arent driving any heavily modified high-compression turbo charged engine, so why bother?

Bimmer apparently uses their own blend 25k service intervals where got go-kart championship?? main for fun me fat adi go-kart cannot jalan one

kenari cannot use mineral power loss and higher FC XD that's one thing bad about k-cars, cannot use heavier than Xw-30. some people using Xw-20 tim. Crazy

royal purple how much per quart ah?

there are 30weights mineral oil
if you want 0-20
there's moutiu and.. err amsoil i think
can last 15k kms

last time used Q8 Advanced 10W-40 on the Accent.. semi-synthetic if not mistaken, mileage didn't really matter cuz cars at my home are all damn low mileage. I changed the oil almost 5 months later cuz barely even clocked 4k when I went to service the car.

royal purple last time used on my dad's car, about RM45 per quart.. can't recall exactly, cuz quite long time already..

i duwan mineral motui damn cheebai expensive - RM215 for 2l full synt 300V. amsoil......not too keen on that

hmmmmmmm RM45 per quart not too bad actually....im already paying RM31 per quart. There's another one, Q8 G long life - RM45 per quart also, rather have royal purple then....see how things goes with this one 1st
