I have a case the driver pressed that he has arrived but he is actually 8 mins away from pick up point. In the chat, he says please wait and there is traffic and he is on the way.
As i suspect the driver might be able to take advantage of the cancelling fee (think this was discussed somewhere in lowyat forum), so i just took a few pictures of the Grab booking screen with the background location showing that i have been waiting at the pick up location.
So it really turn out the the trip is cancelled, as the rider (that is me) didn't show up at the pick up location.
I am wondering, did the driver cancel it or this is auto cancelled?
Anyway I have submitted a feedback to Grab and waiting for reply.
driver doesnt want to complete the job, but not willing sacrifices his cancel rate.
so he just wait 5min n cancel can get free RM3 n wont get punishment.
outdated tricks. usually when i book n i see driver not moving. i will msg him : do u want me to call 1300 88 6688? they direct cancel
