This morning fetched a malay lady, rm8 for a 5km ride, usual old fare will be at least rm10+ in this jam hours. The moment she get in she said, Mycar? I said im grab, then she said opps her mycar call has been cancelled. I knew she calling both side so i ask what price mycar offered? She replied rm5 - rm1 promo, that's bloody cheap rm4 and half price of my "lousy" rm8 grab fare. So i think the recent significant fare drop in kv is becoz grab are in battle with the cheap mycar. But then becoz mycar driver have the flexibility to cancel their job "sesuka hati" else i won't get the job as the rider definitely will take mycar for halfprice.

If at puchong, subang, cheras area no need avoid klia as distances just 50km+- and 70% trip on the highway. Q now mostly 400 -450 aka inside 1hr30mins. If dun wanna waste time waiting then just chiao terus 20km+ to cyber to get 1~2 short trips cover back return fuel cost.
Outside supply > demand made the fare very low, SD very very very hard to get job. If u "lucky" to get 1 then mostly is a problem unwanted job and a long distances near to your dest, on the way short distance SD job hard to get as u r on the lowest priority. Turn off SD then there are chances to get unwanted place that just few hundred meters from avoided places. I avoided bukit bintang area but still can get grand hyatt jalan pinang, that's 700meters 1 corners to pavillion chulan entrance. To pick job or get out from that place..aiyo..CRAP..

Dun know is psychological effects or not, evening easier to get jobs with chinese name and location like hospital lobby..Fellow grabbers starting scare liao...??

It's a difficult time now as less demand becoz of coronav scared. Sd can't get job at all, off sd may kena places that 6km futher up from place avoided for a lousy fare. Saturday sunday gets 5~6 jobs rm5 or rm6 in a row in the hot afternoon some with 2~3km far pickup. Kena far job lagi jialat rm1/km took 1hr rm20~30 30km+- and may further up away from your home if u dun offline before drop off. Partimer got options do less lah only when really free, as like saturday last time lembu mode from 10am till 8pm won't do that anymore as less profit and inflict car wear not worth for the lousy fare offered.

As the situation now is more like drivers grabbing rider in ratio of 3:1. Even in peaks hours at busy area still need to cruise 5-10 minutes to get a job. If sd be prepared to kosong all the way. Today evening im "lucky" to get a good fare job with 2 masked korean chics to a "listed" mall, like 50 meters to reach they already pointing and run up to my car. Otw can smell they are spraying santinizer at the back, looks like they are more scare than me. When dropoff no kidding the usual full of people waiting grab entrance was empty left only jockey man sitting there.
As now still can do 1~2 jobs otw back got or not just take as it. If coming weeks situation become worst like singapore, frankly i scared die and dun dare to do.

Ya not worth to drive now, very less demand, if got ping also maybe patient to clinic or hospital, sometime maybe get rm6 supermarket or pasar with a bunch of goods. More scarier in taman area, get muslim foreigner going to surau. I choose not to drive rather than kena covid 19. No interest do grabfood so only "cameo driving" while going to shopping center sapu goods, sometimes gets a rm7 ~ rm10 trip better than nothing. Sometime mentah mentah kena deduct daily insure fee cannot get a single job. While sometime being called up back to office for duty, otw 7~9am, 5pm+ can get a kembung job if lucky. If travel 10am ~ 4pm mostly will get none. Use small road more chances to get ping but be ready to face police block. Now 2nd phase mco got rules like kenot more than 1 passenger la, kenot >10km shopping la, kenot cross taman tapau food la..i also uncertain will get tahan or not if rider cannot give legit travel reason. Said go work need check letter, said balik rumah need check alamat ic/electric bill. Haiz...pls stay at home!!

The really beneficial to get this rm500 are fulltime drivers who earn income rm25k~rm35k yearly only. As u register lhdn, incomes amount exceeds rm35k will required to contribute income tax. If let say your yearly grab income around rm60k. The tax will surely over rm500 yearly even u applied multiple tax reliefs.
Is a 1 time rm500 not monthly rm500, so unless u really r a fulltime driver with income range rm2k ~ rm2800 else better dun fancy to get it.

Still got people don't know the regulation, last sunday evening get a pair of china couple going to nsk from south city. Kena road block at seremban highway near desa petaling. Luckily the traffic police wave me to pass. Kantoi a bit because in front of me got 1 saga kena open car door to check by a blue shirt police holding saman book. If kena something really not worth as only rm12 cheap fare.
After that the girl ask me what happen, I said actually cannot go shopping > 10km or > 1 person. I also realised that until I see the block..sweat. Adviced them to go home early after buying. Straight offline tapau my kfc and go home..haiz fare not even cover my meal...

Whoever kena job near ioi puchong yesterday really rasa bitter water. Most grabs and taxies all given passing without checking but the long q police block really jialat...u may end up rm6 fare tooks 1 hr+.
Demand better since this monday but so does more police blocks on the road. If really wan to drive..do it 2 shift 7-9am and 6-8pm as those period mostly given quick thru for working lads to travel. Afternoon better rest as the fare very cheap and the police blocks are in full force checking. To avoid the roadblock as u can, u need to fully trust your map even it brings u through anonymous routes. Set your waze or gmaps to the fastest reachtime priority option.

Kv expected to be peak tomorrow morning as office returns to operate. Traffics will chaos as transportations will be limited space due to social distancing practice. Quite suprise grab doesn't put mp block for morning 7-9am. Will be target the evening drive to salvage back the big losts during the mco. Good luck guys.

Can't compare with last year's glorious raya day, still remember started 8am with a 30 + 20 surge 20km ping came in right after i press online inside carpark.

This year ? 8am - 9am only get 1 rm5 + 2 tbb ping. Everywhere full of empty grabs and taxies waiting jobs. Even in so called mp block, the fare r very low.

U need to go inside grab academy section, complete viewing the training video like psv last time.Then the options will be available few days later.
Im also feel weird to do grabfood or grabmart as fetching passenger still my "mainstream part time" job. The pings in kv are getting better as today evening 6-8pm I get 6 jobs. Just the fare are still low consider traffic quite smooth and petrol still cheap.

No need go puspakom if not yet expired and insurance/roadtax can go through. Go september next year, avoid date too close to your roadtax expiry date to avoid mess.
Puspakom is the biggest barrel to get through every year. Before go,
1 service your car change oil change coolant service aircond.
2.alignment & and balancing, front and rear brake change brakepad.
3 remove dark tint especially front.
4.Change tyre if bunga nipis dy.

Just went for my second year inspections today at puspakom pj city beside grab hq today. No luck for me this year, failed first test said my almost "non existent" front tint too dark?? Funny is that last year reading 63, today 58. Asked me to removes on the spot, paid another rm26.5 inspect again then only lulus.

Now my front windscreen are full of sticker glue stain. Need to spare out time and money go tint shop this weekend to removes the stain. Dont think i want to tinted back my front windscreen until i "finally" want to quit driving grab.

Guess the govern dept had become corrupted again after ph down. Heard almost any pattern 8~9 years car can 1 time passed by hiring runner to help, at a premium fees of coz. Today meets quite some brothers who goes himself also failed first test with some reasons, rear brake failed, suspension failed...etc.

Yep after removes check back is 72%. But the tinted has been with me 4years since day 1.Today morning feels weird like the front so bright even with sunglasses on.

My tint is clear like not existence but what to do? as long as want to drive grab then better don't tint the front windscr follow their sop to save the mess. Most importantly is to pass no matter how, else can't get roadtax renew.
