It is common understanding among driver that ehailing drivers are not supposed to pick up at the departure hall which is means for drop off purpose only. However, I so far didn’t came across any articles or airport management announcement regarding this matter.

Grab car official should also made appropriate announcements to guide their drivers according.

make sure the following are there in your files for submission to jpj for PSV licenses:

medical checkup cert
mycard photocopy
driving license photocopy
2 own photos with white background
my sikap
sijil kelayakan untuk menjalani ujian pelesenan pemandu vokasional

Do be surprise if one of those are missing when we collect from folder from grab office.

I also cancel one trip which affect my cxl rate.

I reach guard house and informed guard I wished to pick up at block C. But guard refuse to let me in unless I told him the exact rider unit number. At that point of time I already press I have arrived but the exact pick up pin is actually 200 m after entering the guard house.

No choice, I call rider and requested his unit no. But that indian guy reluctant to give his unit number and ask him to pass my phone to the guard. Both talked over phone and unable to reach agreement.

Eventually phone pass back to me and I informed him I need to cancel the trip. The rider said go ahead.

I pressed cancel but now the passager not shown screen didn’t pop up. So no choice just select accept the booking
by error and my cxl rate goes up.

But I glad I didn’t pick him up in fact because from the way he talked sound like those high demanding and insecure rider.

There were two additional forms that grab staff insert into my psv folders when I collected it at the office. All the documents already submitted to JPJ later and I only managed to find the photo on one of the document (see attached)

There was a driver who sit next to me when I collected the folder from grab office and his medical checkup form was likely misplaced by the grab staff and unable to locate it . Pity him as he may need to redo his medical checkup again.

p/s: grab practice may differ now. I need to wait one month before psv result was out in JPJ website and I proceed to collect the folder at grab office although they never officially notify me in this.

The items was in my folder though.

No sure JPJ can still accept our application if these two forms were not presented to the counter staff. They may be able view the same info from their system.

That's all for now, I give up and just go back like most of the drivers today. Clearly, this is time-consuming and wastage lots of drivers' money.
If you ask me, I think those who plan to meet up a minister or "mogok" on 10th or 11th (Sorry forgot already) does have a valid point because otherwise, things are just going to get worse from now on.

ps/ Did I mentioned that the update on both APAD/PUSPAKOM is not made automatically? No one knows how long these ppl will take to update the system. SO good

As a general rule, buy a cheap car for doing grab is better.

Save costs and less “heart pain” if there is any damage on the vehicle while on the trip.

Has grab informed their riders they suppose to wait at the new pick up point?

Each time also want us to inform their riders to go down to level1?

Just took a grab from office to client place.

Ride was overall okay and I have no complaint on drivers’ navigation skills and his service level.

When almost reaching destination, the driver received the back to back ping. I noticed he shifted his attention to the data in his driver app after pressing accept (rather than focusing on the road). While his car was still moving slowly toward the destination. Nothing happen but I was slightly concern about our safety although the time taken was only 5-10s. How about if suddenly there is a another car appeared from nowhere unexpectedly?

It is no a big issue but I recommend the drivers to only look at the b2b jobs at the convenient point of time, i.e. while waiting for the traffic light clearance or stuck at the jam. Your pax would feel safer.

For the above case, I still gave 5 stars and no complaint was made.

You need to look in details the AL map in our driver app.

For example, Atria is not under damansara but it is under PJ AL area.

Good to recap for the new grabcar drivers. It has been discussed before but seems like still lots of drivers are not aware of it.

Grab will charge exorbitant prices for minor sketches and damages on their rented car when we return it to them.

Main concern now is that riders either:

:- No wearing mask properly, only wear up to chin or mouth areas; or

:- Remove the mask after they get into the car and we already start the trip. They probably think that inside the car cabin is safer than other open public areas.

:- Pull down the mask to chin area when they start talking to each other or over the phone.

Nice and decent looking amoi also remove the mask in my car yesterday. They just don't understand the high infection risks in the small enclosed car cabin areas.

I have uploaded my latest e hailing insurance and road tax two weeks ago via driver app. And few days later grab has also send in app messages that they have approved my documents submission.

But I can’t understand why yesterday grab suddenly send me email stating that my insurance will be expired soon? and will deactivate if I don’t submit my documents within 7 days.

Anyone experienced the same? Should I go to office to submit personally?
