Sort of..it means the power output compared to weight is low so u need more power to move..Fuel efficiency will suffer if full load and at high speed.Outside reviews says it takes 15 second to reach 0-100..brv takes 10.9s for comparison.

Huuuu..aruz does look nice and has a lot of goodies but might go for the more smarter choice n get exora then..

Was thinking of either this car or exora to buy this year..power would be one of the deciding factor for me..so this one is so-so for you?
*
Hmmm you need to test drive it... city drive is great... Highway high speed you may feel abit of stress during overtake

Already test drive... power is so so but what you expect from 1.5... the initial acceleration is fine... highspeed overtake must think twice

City drive shud be fine but going up genting or hilly area will a problem

Power to weight ratio is 76 mind you .one of the worst in its class..Its rival Honda BRV power to weight ratio is 96 and some still complaint that car is slow .Town driving is OK la..But if somebody bought this for long distance balik kampung drive with full family every week,he'll regret it..

Agree with your point

I'll just leave this ASEAN NCAP report here,
The number of download would reflect how many people put safety first whistling.gif

Its power to weight ratio is worse than Bezza 1.0 (A)

Bezza (880kg) = 86bhp/tonne
Aruz (1310kg) = 80bhp/tonne
BRV (1220 kg) = 96bhp/tonne

Even a full loaded 660cc kancil can go up Gentinglah..The difference is engine will be taxed to the max..No overtaking and use low gear..Don't forget to play loud music to drown out the screaming engine..

Not a standard feature. Stupid car clearance too high, getting down cannot feel ground level immediately. Scared sprain ankle.
