hi guys, i just bought PS4 Pro two months ago, and been using 39" Full HD TV only to play. plan to upgrade to 4K HDR TV, like this one LG 43" 43UK6300. Is this TV model OK for PS4 pro? Pls advise.
i heard stories of others that bought 4K 'HDR' TV but the HDR not compatible with PS4 pro. therefore, i want to purchase the correct one, my budget RM2500 and below, better if below RM2k. 2k might be peanut to others but it's a lot to me. But to be honest, not many games support full proper HDR too. PS4 support HDR10 which many hdr ready TV uses. One other thing you’ll need to check. The latency/input lag is usually not that good among cheaper TVs too. If you play any fighting games, platformer or FPS, this will affect your experience. |

Just traded my Nintendo Switch for a Ps4. No regrets at all.

Good rationality because a lot of people think that bigger screen is always better without considering the size of the room and the distance between the sofa and TV. Because let me tell you, motion sickness is not worth it, your gaming experience will be instantly spoiled.TQ for your suggestion. 55" i think is too big inside my medium-sized room (gaming room) so need to consider proper viewing distance too but I will definitely consider 49" |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Feb 20 2019, 11:20 AM) The Nintendo Switch is a good idea but not so good execution to me. There's a lot of wear and tear and build quality issues. Even mine have a few.I just can't see myself using it for a longer duration than a PS4. I'm also no longer attracted by their exclusive titles. Zelda was the one game I wanted to play. Then I also played Mario Odyssey, many other 3rd party games. And Diablo 3 more recently. But it's graphic performance and network capability left me in doubt. Online gaming on it is inferior to other consoles. There's terrible lag in Diablo 3 multiplayer especially after Greater Rift lv100. Fortnite is lagging as hell too. You lag terribly during big fights. Right now I have single digit Ping on Fortnite PS4. While the best Ping on NS for me was around 100. This post has been edited by victorr: Feb 20 2019, 01:51 PM |

49" 4K HDR TV is quite cheap nowadays. Perfect for budget oriented people like me. Decent enough performance with the PS4 Pro. I'm sitting quite close too.
