hi guys, i just bought PS4 Pro two months ago, and been using 39" Full HD TV only to play. plan to upgrade to 4K HDR TV, like this one LG 43" 43UK6300. Is this TV model OK for PS4 pro? Pls advise.

i heard stories of others that bought 4K 'HDR' TV but the HDR not compatible with PS4 pro. therefore, i want to purchase the correct one, my budget RM2500 and below, better if below RM2k. 2k might be peanut to others but it's a lot to me.

Cheaper TV HDR is not very prominent.
But to be honest, not many games support full proper HDR too. PS4 support HDR10 which many hdr ready TV uses.

One other thing you’ll need to check.
The latency/input lag is usually not that good among cheaper TVs too. If you play any fighting games, platformer or FPS, this will affect your experience.

thanks for your feedback. i researched input lag for this model at rtings.com website and found out that the input lag/response time is quite good, around 11ms.

better get sony 4k tv.. can get Sony 49'' 4K HDR UHD Smart TV KD49X7000F for RM1699 in lazada
im using 55" 7500F with PS4 Pro, very satisfy
*
TQ for your suggestion. 55" i think is too big inside my medium-sized room (gaming room) so need to consider proper viewing distance too but I will definitely consider 49" thumbup.gif

i'm using a 55" in my bedroom/gaming room, feels just nice.

going downstairs to play on my living room 49" feels so small sweat.gif

my apartment only 750sqf or 800sqf, so medium room size also so-so only. but definitely getting bigger TV if i move into new bigger house

Good rationality because a lot of people think that bigger screen is always better without considering the size of the room and the distance between the sofa and TV. Because let me tell you, motion sickness is not worth it, your gaming experience will be instantly spoiled.
*
yea right, but i never got motion sickness like nausea etc from gaming marathon with PS4 so far. only feel my eyeballs a bit itchy and 'dried up', because played too long maybe? at this time, I know I had to stop playing and rest my eyes.

Guys, mind to share what games u say for days of play promo? Got my PS plus deal.
Still dilemma with what game to get before 17 Jun with my limited fund
*
digital of physical disc? if physical disc with limited budget, just buy all games under RM100 i.e. GoW (RM79), UC4 (RM59), UC: The Lost Legacy (RM79), Spiderman (RM79), TLOU (RM59). Days Gone is still RM189, so just buy later in the future. you can resell the discs later to buy different games

also, buy PS+ subscription as much as possible now, later price will increase in August 2019 to RM159 for 12-months. now promotion only RM90.3 for 12 months

if u keep delay, later no more stocks left at sony store. yesterday i bought GoW at Sony Centre in Penang also the last unit. better decide fast

Saw PS4 Pro 1TB bundled with GOW selling at SONY outlet for RM1549.. should buy or not? best deal in town?
*
i think not. you can buy PS4 Pro and GoW separately, and still cheaper

PS4 Pro 1TB RM 1,377 @ Lazada
GoW RM79 @ Days of Play Promotion, until 17 June 2019 only

RM 1,377 + RM 79 = RM 1,456. cheaper

Ic. I read somewhere in Netflix forum, someone recommend to watch Netflix and YouTube using PS4. Haven't find out why though
*
my old, 2013 LG smart TV capable of full HD resolution (1080p), comes with youtube and netflix app pre-installed, but it cannot display netflix and youtube at full HD, only up to 720p because app version not updated by software dev - they don't even bother
but with the same TV, connect the PS4, and open youtube & netflix, you can watch at full HD resolution, 1080p
i think this is one of the reasons why

also I noticed, some latest TV now have features like Sony's Motionflow while LG has TruMotion. the effect? makes video smoother, like 60fps, gooding like using SVP player to watch movie in 60fps in PC

previously, I always watch netflix using PS4, but then i noticed I can't utilize Motionflow at display coming from PS4
so now I'm back to watching Netflix without using PS4, only using Netlix app at Smart TV while enabling Motionflow
