i have a modem ZyXEL prestige 600 series ( P 650M-61 )
but i dunno is it Router?
and if its router..how do i set router mode(auto connect) ?

yes it have router function,
u need to go inside the web managnment modem,

Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser.
Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router.

By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.1.1
By default the username is admin and the password is 1234

then u choose to use pppoe mode,
vpi=0
vci=35

save the setting and reboot

too bad i cant even access into it...( but i use my Dlink can access... )
i only can use Run > telnet 192.168.1.1 and i dunno how to set...

Anyone Know how to portforward zyxel prestige 600 series? I had the same problem too,

Problems :
1) i could not connect to 192.168.1.1 (probably it is not router?)
2) I only can run Cmd telnet 192.168.1.1, but so what can I do in there?

Anyone pls help??

by the way im ZyXEL member here,P-650M Series is without Router,
it's just only a modem.
if any problem or setiing problem u can just contact with our ZyXEL technician.

if u would like to looking for modem+router is P-660R.

hoho, I also facing some problem in setting this router. But I do can access to it. Just wondering the manual they gave me is just like shit.. haha, don't even know how to set with the steps they gave. Rather think can check by own.

does zyxel still sell plain ADSL modems ? i had a ZyXel PRestige P650M .. now cant seem to find it on zyxel's site and it seems all DSL products is router/modem combo

i have exactly the same problem. i cant even do telnet 192.168.1.1.

after checking my cmd, all i get is as in the picture.

how how how?? is it the modem problem? i tried resetting it by pressing at the back of the modem, but cant work. all i could do is direct connection.
