I m a 33 years old guy... I have been in good diet for many years...But, I never like to exercises... I still maintain an OK body for my age... I m 173cm, 65kg
Recently, I workout in a small gym in my condo rigorously at least 6 times a week. I also reduce 20-25% of my food intake /calorie intake.
Only about 3+ weeks, my body weight shoot up to 70kg. l All my shirts and pants bcome tighter...
My body shape is firmer and bigger...
*I do not intend to be bigger... I just wan slim fit. Any advice? I already reduce food, shouldn't I just bcome firm only?

I already reduce food, shouldn't I just bcome firm only? When you say this, I assume you're just eyeballing and estimating the food you reduced. you never mentioned what you usually eat before the supposed "reduced portion" and the now reduced portion, and what are the things that you reduced. there's no way energy can appear out of thin air. so yea you're still overeating.

Ya, that's just estimate.... For example, I order small portion outside . I purposely left 20% and don't eat. My dinner rice, (at home), I further reduce rice another 25- 30%.... Thts why I don't understand.... Why my weight increase by 4-5kg? *i got take more protein, eggs and even whey protein . I stopped 2 days ago.

I stopped 2 days ago. You're gonna need to learn more about food. If 1 cup of rice is 210 cals. Reducing 30% only reduces about 60 cals. You eat 1 additional egg= 80 cals. So you've ended up technically ingesting more calories there. Either you continue this trial and error run until you get it right or start seriously track your calories.

Getting Started

install myfitnesspal and start counting calorie. Types of food will affect a lot too. And, weightlifting will build muscle, and muscle has weight. You can include HIIT cardio on some days to burn fat faster. Most important is not your weight, but your bodyfat %.

Counting only the macro isn't everything. For example, consuming 3pcs of KFC chicken is estimated at 550 calories. Consuming 200gm of grilled chicken breast + vege + brown rice also amount to similar calories. In both cases, it's the same macro but the micro is different. KFC will have higher fat content due to the chicken being deep fried. The way food is cooked also affects its nutrients and micro contents. Not asking you to go into very minute details, but it takes time to research, be conscious and put into practice. This post has been edited by sweet_pez: Feb 19 2019, 09:47 AM

If you know it isn't working, that is when you change. Considering that you workout 6 times a week, I would think that your muscles have put on quite a lot of weight. Do not trust the weight machine, trust the mirror instead. You cannot see the changes within a month, but try it for 3. Also understand that you are 33, your metabolism isn't as great as a 20 year old. Be patient and continue working out
