QUOTE(Sanj11 @ Nov 6 2019, 09:49 AM)
Hi All,

I'm planning to get a medical plan for my dad who will turn 66 soon. He does have any existing medical plan, but its an old plan and the coverage is only till the age of 70. Therefore any input/recommendations from any agents in here would be highly appreciated. I'm only interested in medical plan, not life insurance and etc.
*
try read post 1822...(plus a few posts up and downs from that post 1822 for some comments)
there are links to the products that covers till age 80
closing date of offer till Dec 2019 only

Sanj11 need medical plan for father.

And the 1822 post, GE GL4U no medical coverage. Cover life & accident death without medical condition & under writing need.
*
ok thanks noted...

Sanj11,
maybe perhaps, try this then...

as your dad is now 66 yrs old....
Policy is guaranteed renewable – up to age 80 years old next birthday

How can I take up PRUSenior Med for my parents?
You can take up PRUSenior Med for your parents by paying the premiums if they are between the ages of 45 to 70 years on their next birthday. Your parents will own the policy.

while waiting for responses, try this?

What is Term Life Insurance?
Term Life insurance is a very common form of life insurance and provides a lump sum payout if you die in the course of the policy duration or if you suffer from a Total Permanent Disability. Known also as pure life insurance, it is priced affordably so that anyone can apply for it at any life stage and with this policy in hand, you can stay assured that you and your family will be protected in the occasion that something unfortunate happens to you.

Oh that's out-patient... I'm concerned about becoming in-patient

e.g multiple broken/fractured bones
*
from your provided link ....
https://www.allianz.com.my/documents/144671...4b-dc1d5d3faae6

Medical Expenses
Indemnifies the medical expenses incurred for injuries resulting from an accident, including illnesses such as Dengue, Zika Virus, Malaria, Japanese Encephalitis or Chikungunya.

does that not cover in-patient for multiple broken/fractured bones due to accident?

Hi, for ILP i heard next year BNM rules change and agent can only show 2% & 5% return/policy sustainability projection instead of 3% & 8% currently. Will this cause premiums to increase?

Seems like many ppl get scam by AIA telemarketers recently or perhaps since years ago, bank money get deducted without even agree to buy the policy
No offense but now I feel like AIA is the worst one (lack of customers) since they need to perform such market strategy..
*
read in a thread previously....telemarketers conversation with customers are recorded....if the customers feels he is billed for something that he did not agreed to buy....he can always seek back the money.....

*

Free Look

You may cancel your life insurance policy by returning it to your insurance company within 15 days after receiving the policy documents. The premium that you have paid will be refunded to you.

Weird eh.. how come policy can generated with phone call and without signature but cannot do cancellation and refund use back phone call? If so this country is sick leh
*
while pondering if this country is sick or not,

read 16...
16. Can I cancel or surrender my policy?

Yes, you have the option to cancel or surrender your policy. We will refund the premium based on the table below, provided that no claims have been made during the current policy year...
https://www.aia.com.my/en/our-products/onli...r-plan/faq.html

it has a table showing the refundable % for every month of cancellation delay.....

hope you can tell your friend's GF to act (in the correct route) soonest....for her plan "may" have conditions like that too.

Like I mentioned in earlier thread, they already made call to AIA CA and request for refund+cancellation earlier. smile.gif
Assume that they never receive any policy (I assume no way to track it since no signature confirmation and malaysia's slow deliveryas always), thus there should be always full % in refund devil.gif
*
good luck.
and do keep us updated on this .
