Maybe I'm noob, but to me, there's not reason at all to 'disconnect/disable' the dashcam or anything related if they are doing their proper job (since you have nothing to hide when you're really doing your job). Anything else only seems suspicious to me, no matter what the alleged reasons may be.. Afterall your dashcam is usually located in areas where they are very unlikely to be working on.. They are not there to help me clean my windscreen right?
Anyway i'm curious as to why the video was decided to be taken down by the owner, it should be viral-ed to raise awareness.. Shouldn't be too 'soft' on these kind of acts, even if the company gives the 'assurances' to investigate..
u know , today are infomation technology internet era , nothing so call proper , and there are many ppl out ther very easy to point finger , even professional youtuber always getting ppl comment and bash on thier car service and repair video,
i can understnad their feel they dun like ppl take thier video when they doing job , once u put any video on internet sure there is some bash and comment , this comment will made then getting quiry by management even when they did nothing wrong follow the work shop sop , some bad management will use this reason low ball thier incrent, less bonus or even they will get retrenchment if the work shop are in bad finacial situation.
in any field of work that require human hand there are nothing so call professional way method , not to say if we visit thouse after salse service center or low cost service center. As long as they dun do it too over then is ok, i always go to SC that i can see my car being repair and i will always wait for the job done the longest time i wait are 5 hour, some cheap low cost work shop i allowed them to drive my car to purchase parts, this also good for purchase correct parts , i told them i want original like existing , they can check and match if drive my car there.
