Grab Launches First GrabKitchen In Malaysia, Allows Several Orders With One Delivery Fee



GrabFood customers looking to add some variety to their daily meals, or who are catering to multiple tastebuds in a group, can now order food from several selected restaurants while paying only one delivery fee. This comes following the opening of Grab’s first cloud kitchen – dubbed GrabKitchen – in Hartamas.

Essentially, GrabKitchen operates like a “co-working space” for several participating restaurants, where they gather under one roof to cook. Customers will then be able to “mix and match” orders from these restaurants and pay only a single delivery fee, as opposed to multiple delivery fees previously charged for orders from restaurants at different locations. At present, Malaysia’s first GrabKitchen houses 11 brands, including Kenny Rogers Roasters, Salad Atelier, Tasty Chapathi, myBurgerLab, and Lim Fried Chicken.

Has been using ShopeePay a lot for DuitNow QR payment.

I doubt Grab will award points for DuitNow QR payment.

Remember the good old days when you could visit hawker centres and indulge in all your favourite dishes from different stalls? Yeah, we miss that too.

Although dining in at hawker centres isn’t possible during this time, you can order from Food Courts near you on GrabFood. And better yet: you can mix & match dishes from different stalls within each food court, and you only need to pay 1 delivery fee!
