Well, if we're suspecting bugs now... Gotta ask, is the game legit? Must look at all corners to make sure we're not overlooking something.

have you try running 3dmark test?
also some hardware monitor like hwinfo to monitor your whole system RAM speed, heat and 12V stability. Run together with 3dmark and get the monitor log file see can isolate the problem.

You don't need to play a game to test the stability of a video card. Download something like

https://benchmark.unigine.com/valley

and let it run non stop, then you can go to sleep just to see whether it's still running or not after you wake up.

ran 2-3 benchmarks with the unigine at max resolution.. temps go up to 70 for the card.. but runs fine.. will run it longer tonite

hitman still crashes though... any software to stress test the cpu? need to rule that out before finalising the powersupply

Google for;

prime 95 64bit, do a "blend test" or "in place large FFT" make sure you're in front of the PC for an hour or so to check the temp lol

Realbench, safer and lighter test?

Update: Hitman Runs fine on full hd...max settings with temps arnd 60C

any other resolution the pc restarts even at the low setting...suspect its a software glitch? coz the frame rates rarely dip below 60 even at max settings...

maybe not compatible with the acer x34p resolution 3440X1440 or is it a clear cut power supply issue?

just update for everyone. found the root cause. its was because of the PCIE power cable. the PSU was on single rail and was overloading. i took the spare power cable and connected it to both of the PCI connection on the PSU now everything runs fine.
