For whatsapp, u can backup to google drive. On the new phone, install whatsapp and during the first run, import/restore backup from google drive.

i tot iphone is on icloud? thats why we cant direct sycn from android to ios.

Iphone XR is great consider its hot selling device of ip. If not urgently upgrade, wait for Iphone 9 announcement,while waiting mybe you can save more up a bit then can consider ip11 somemore.
Anyway my wife use iphone XR I would say the battery is top notch and the different between xr with ip11 not that much different unless camera is your concern that definately go ip11.

Nah, i dont think the iphone 9 launch will bring the price of the 11 down. Only the launch of the iPhone 12 would bring the 11 down

iPhone 9 will launch with Touch ID (not sure?) while iPhone XR / 11 is a fully gesture phone with Face ID, so see u prefer Touch ID or Face ID

looking at COVID-19 in USA condition now being the top and how Apple planning to postpone iphone 12 even, i think the best phone to get is XR which will be sufficient enough........still the best phone i own before i changed to 11 early this year.

seriously speaking the postpone is not a big deal. my iphone X still serves me perfectly.

i think from iphone 6/6 plus onwards all the way to iphone 11, the aluminium body attracts scratches very easily if u dun use a case.

I did notice this too. But for mine, the body of my XR was scratched sigh (and even with phone cover!)
