Here is a trick for getting XR for cheap. They are a year old so most of them are qualified to be unlocked. I purchased my US set and hammered T-Mobile for a few days (their facebook service is very responsive) and after that they unlocked my phone.

Cost me around RM1k nia for a used pristine condition iphone XR 64gb. Of course, if unlocked then wont be so cheap around RM1.7k.

where to get used original US version?

Anyone having wifi problem issue? the wifi button greyed out on min and cant be toggle on/off. Happened some time after update. SO thought it must be software issue. Send to switch for warranty claim, logic board detected faulty. Replaced me with a new unit and my warranty going to end in a month time. What a great timing.

Btw, quite a number of iphones are having wifi issues after update.

no need to be paranoid over the battery. iphone battery can use at least 3 years or more before you need to change it.

anything above 80% is still healthy.

Is it worth to get the XR now or wait a few months for the iPhone 9 @ SE 2? Heard that the price for iphone 9 would be cheaper, so I'm holding back at the moment.

I know right.. she's currently on her tiny 5S.. and this XR would definitely be an upgrade. Also, the huge battery is a plus.. the camera, well, selfies is more than enough as she seldom snap pics.

XR is arnd rm3k at the moment. Wonder how much the iPhone 9 would cost.. is rm2k possible? Just a guesstimate

with the latest chipset and being in 2020, dont think it will be lesser than 2k surely......its APPLE for a reason (price!)
