Your situation same as mine. Ordered on 1st day they release the skin but until middle January never received. Got replace with another one within 4 day already received. End January the lost parcel arrived . I just keep that one to replace if my current skin got ripped/scratch as the material actually quite a bit different with other type dbrand skin (Currently back naked with skin only, use case for edge & side cover). Dbrand definitely the best skin and customer respond so far recommended to all.

Iphone XR is great consider its hot selling device of ip. If not urgently upgrade, wait for Iphone 9 announcement,while waiting mybe you can save more up a bit then can consider ip11 somemore.
Anyway my wife use iphone XR I would say the battery is top notch and the different between xr with ip11 not that much different unless camera is your concern that definately go ip11.
