I don't think so, once your eSim have been activated, your physical sim should be out of service if it is same phone number

Definitely not. The esim will ok overwrite your previous simcard. You would need a new SIM if you decide to switch back to normal sim

Can my existing SIM card be converted to an eSIM?
Yes, if your device is among the list of supported eSIM devices. Please walk in to any Maxis store to convert it. Do note that the usual replacement SIM charges may apply.

Not sure if those who changed eSIM have been charged? I’ve replaced my physical SIM card recently and they waived the replacement charge.

For The Maxis’ customers it’s all go down to which mass/grade they’re belong. Monthly usage, tenure and payments are all taken into consideration. But any customer can always dispute the sim replacement charges

Few days ago a guy with an IPhone XS Max HK set confirmed with Apple Helpdesk that warranty can be claimed here in Malaysia.
