anyone of u have like this situation before?

this phone never drop to water n fall down, is it possible having IC problem?

IIANM, older batches of the K800i are susceptible to this problem. Is yours an older unit? (2006 unit?)

firmware out, did u took out the battrey without switch off the phone? if u do so then send it to shop flashing then can use back.

Ok, i need anyone help.
who knows which shop having expert capability in repaired HP especially k800?

Im aleready send it to many shop in KL yesterday but noone can fix it, some of them said no spare part n some said cant repaired after i wait for 1 hour. hugh.......
Then, most of them said tis a IC or board problem.

Really tired now, want to send which shop.

This problem affects the earlier batch of K800i users, my friend kena before but luckily he bought a Midland set so the service centre 'kau tim' it for him within 3 days. If yours an AP set, just bring it back to the importer lor. Try avoid going to the mobile clinic shops outside, sometimes they dunno what they're doing, you'll risk damaging your phone for good.

well there`s the shop i went to in sungai wang which told me about the phone ic problem ..the name is city phone sales and service ..mainly selling some lg phones ... well thats where i got the estimated reapir bill...

Send to dealer oredi but he dont want accept it under warranty n they said tis phone spoilt bcos drop to water n ground but actually not like tat.

Really dissapointed wif tat dealer services.

Then, i try send to 2 mobile shop in KL yesterday but dont get good result as well.
They said its a IC or board problem n they check it for around 1 hour, 1st shop said cant repair bcos dont hv spare part n 2nd shop said cant repair.

do u hv any idea for tis phone?

mentioned in an earlier post what ? well from what i was told , its 300 for the flash ic or 600 for a new motherboard ..the risk is, it may happen again ... no point repairing imo .. might as well try to sell the phone for parts and get another wan (like what i did )

that depends leh..see if anybody requires the casing,lcd or the camera /batt .. then sell it off individually , or take to a shop and see they can do anything or not .

why not just go to sesc??
Safer...Because some shop will stole your parts too....

uh one word of advice though , if ur phone is an apset and you go to the se sevice centre to flash your phone(assuming this case if software corruption)it won`t be cheap
