Very true, we cannot have one winner. Grab has been very arrogant and ignorant.

Just to share, Grab sent me a notification that my next ride will be RM 5 off automatically (they specifically mentioned no promo code required). I didn't get the discount after my ride. They asked me to prove many things ie print screen the notification to proof I received the invitation etc. After I proved everything, they acknowledged their mistake.

Guess what? They sent me another promo code for my next ride as "compensation", and stood strong and refused to return the RM 5 discount directly. They forced their customer to take another ride now. I threatened to take action, they ignored. This is the power of a monopoly

Boost now got movie CB. They should include a promotion summary tab into the app, too many promo already very messy. If they're kind enough include the remaining available redemption and just remove the promo after quota finished

It's very true, Boost is in a big mess now. Just to give example. All accounts achieved Tesco CB criteria and also all spent more than RM 100.

Boost A - no shake reward at Tesco, no Tesco RM 8 cash back, no surprise gift on 20th as promised
Boost B - no Tesco RM 8 cash back, no surprise gift on 20th as promised
Boost C - no Tesco RM 8 cash back, no surprise gift on 20th as promised

Sent message to Boost on Tesco CB, as usual, all came back with standard answer, asking us to share phone number and print screen to prove the spending. I mean seriously? Boost missed out all 3 accounts on the Tesco CB? All have to prove our spending?

If finished, they should reply so, and not asking us to print screen to prove it. Moreover, it's true they're having problems now, with few claims that they didn't receive the shake reward. Also, one hero from Boost claimed earlier that by the end of yesterday will release the surprise gift, guess nobody got it yet. They're just everywhere now

Not meant to doubt this SOP, of course they need some proof to entertain dispute.
What I was saying is, all these should be automatically given, when one requires to proof spending, it raises lots of questions, i.e what if we don't feedback, will we still get it, will they quietly sweep under the carpet etc

Can't agree more, think someone praised their customer service before? I've had very bad experience with them for many incidents.

Recent example, my feedback on shake rewards was ignored and they amazingly replied "RM 8 Tesco has been given". That's 2 different thing, one is shake rewards, one is cash back. They then closed the case.

Just feel that they're heading to the wrong direction, no point launching 10 promo at 1 time, customer confuse, they themselves confuse. They should consolidate into less, but effective promo.

Even the self-service counter also have problems very often.

Kota Damansara - tried one of the self-service counter, failed. Then the staff told me, out of so many counters there, only 1 is working. So I changed to the one and it worked.

Puchong - first time scan, everything hang, the staff said common. Tried a second time, luckily successful.

Went Old Town just now, when I mentioned Boost, staff macam act blur (as if cannot), then I pointed to her the Boost sign, then she said oh ok la. My guts feel is she knows Boost, just she lazy to use it

Not easy to stay in the game. After refer, need to wait 24 hours to get another 2 gifts. At the time you refer to that friend, he/she would have referred to the same group of people you know. By tomorrow when you get another 2 gifts, that group of people might all be activated already. They're damn smart in this promo, it's going to spread very fast and within days many ppl would have been activated and not easy for you to continue playing

So far 7 accounts received gift
1) RM 3 x 2
2) RM 1 x 2
3) RM 0.50 x 3

Max can get RM 10. Just wonder, anyone get RM 10 yet?

With so many bloody stupid reply from them, nobody dare to take any risks anymore unless you really need to spend.

I wanted to buy tgv earlier, wanted to use Boost because Maybank RM 10 cannot get premium seat, only preferred. But buy through Boost is RM 19.50, so if no more CB means I pay double.

I asked the customer service:

"I want to buy movie ticket, is the quota for 50% CB through Wetix still available or fully redeemed".

They bloody replied me "Did you buy the tickets" then case solved. What the F they're talking about.

I then replied "I haven't bought that's why I asked". Normally when you reply to a solved case the case will automatically reopen. However, they refused to reply me, and closed the reopened case again. This is Boost customer service.

I'll stop playing tomorrow, seems most get RM 0.50. Both my gifts RM 0.50. Today sent to my friend, and she sent to her sister. Both of them also got RM 0.50. This is easily the cheapest recruitment cost Boost spent so far. RM 0.50 per referral? Kinda missed the 50% max RM 10 CB that time, just one time get RM 10 already, this one keep referring also cannot reach RM 10.

Everyone in my family opened their remaining boxes today, as we're all tired of playing this stupid game. So damn regretted most of us spending RM 100 just for this.

All of us hit Royal Flush, I mean really, we all got it, 4 accounts x 2 chances x RM 0.50 for all the boxes. Wow, simply amazing

2.   Game starting from 20 Dec onwards - well clearly due to the incompetence of the IT team and Marketing team for the reasons above, the game was delayed and they are forced to deploy the game anyway on 21 Dec to manage the noise that is getting louder from customers, Eventhough the game clearly did not abide by the TnC.

The best part was no announcement or acknowledgement of anything by the Marketing team on 20 Dec to inform the users on the delay while knowing the whole world is waiting to play the game.

So yes, the whole campaign is a big scam. Poorly executed. Didn't test properly beforehand.

PS: for those that like to comment/act on your impulsiveness, i suggest you to read 100 times here before you jump the gun on any members here. I am not sure if a few of you are too lazy to read what others are trying to say or you really cant read at all mega_shok.gif  because you easily accused other members while the problem is really your comprehension.

Very well said, it's clearly a very misleading promo. Some said Boost didn't say others cannot join without spending so they didn't cheat, which I can't find the logic behind the argument. By them giving a pre-condition to join this promo is clear enough that this is a promo with condition. If they can simply open to all, then it's a clear scam already.

Just my speculation, probably they could have alloted higher CB if they didn't screw up this promo and award those who spent RM 100 only, as it will be effective recruitment exercise for them. But somehow, as you mentioned, probably they made a mistake, so they have to launch this promo without further delay. And by opening to all, surely they cannot afford higher amount, hence RM 0.50 most of the time haha

Actually I'm not damn pissed or angry, but just feel frustrated wasting time to qualify for the contest, but eventually feel Boost is taking advantage of everyone here. I've made complaint before to kpdnkk on other case, totally being ignored, so I have low trust in making complaint to them.

Agree with ericlks91, Victor you don't really get it. While I appreciate getting lots of CB from Boost, but that doesn't mean they don't own up to their mistakes.

Another example, let's say Samsung today said anyone who spend RM 2k and above on their product and be the first 100 to queue will then get RM 1k worth of products. Then you bodoh bodoh spent 2k and go and queue at 3am, and you're within the 100 ppl, suddenly after you got your free gift, Samsung giving everyone else the same thing without any condition. Then you complaint, Samsung told you this:-

- you should not be simply spending 2k and buy stuffs you don't need, if the 2k is something you need, what's the fuss about
- we still gave you the free gift as promised, but we didn't say those who didn't meet the condition are not going to get it

So, this is fair? Fair game from Samsung?
