haha...was looking around for this thread but somehow cudnt..now it's back. good.
nowadays, hscbc cyberjaya (HDPM they called it generally) offers max rm1800 even if ur a degree holder with/without working experience. if without degree, it might be lower. some depts might have extra allowance ( max 300 IINM), some even dun have allowance at all. if ur in a call centre environment, that's wat u get, working like mad but get paid peanuts. when i left, i heard that they're gonna lower the qualification down to SPM level cos most of the resignations are degree holders (survey results from the long lists of resignations)...omos every day oso got resignations in HDPM. How come i know? cos i've been in & out the HR for the past 2 mths. l left for a happier working environment. |

hsbc cyberjaya is not directly under hsbc..they're just a 'subsidiary' of hsbc. so sad to say, u dun get to enjoy the banks' benefits.eg.. all the housing/car loans same goes to e2power, another subsidiary for ocbc..but the pay in e2power is higher compare to hdpm. unless ur rili despo or living somewhere near cyberjaya..wudn't recommend u to go there.

QUOTE(young_mane @ Jun 10 2007, 09:54 PM) May I know besides handling local HSBC customer calls, do the local agents also handle international clients? it depends which dept are u applying for...in cyberjaya, mostly are on UK or US market...so u can agak-agak on the working hour there for these 2 markets.... unless if ur joining the HK or the newly setup taiwan market...den it'll follow the local time. |

QUOTE(PunPunRider @ Jun 19 2007, 12:44 AM) oh and if you think 2 months of training is hell.... find out from the UK team. i believe some had to endure 3 - 4 months of classroom training. on the bright side, for fresh grads, it's like college all over again - imagine, 4 months of "work" with full salary. what's so bad about that? QUOTE(Lcsx @ Jun 19 2007, 08:22 AM) Yeah. What so bad about getting paid to learn? yeah yeah...4 months of work (training to be exact) with full salary eh?? imagine ur a freshie..u just got out from ur beloved uni/college/school....hope that u can get a decent job and mayb establish a career somewhere, hope that those exams' days will be gone for good. but wen u come to a company that requires u to go all over the uni/college/school life again ie. tests, exams, punishments, verbal warning, one-on-one sessions.. sounds familiar eh?? now, will u be able to endure the same process all over again?I think its a pretty good deal for a freshie especially. |
