hi there...ur in Twn Call Ctr eh??

nowadays u'll go thru approx 1.5mths of training...eliday oso got tests/exams or wateva u wanna call it. u hv to pass the tests/exams eliday cos the marks will be sent to taiwan for 'evaluation' purposes on a daily basis.. passing mark is 80 and above.

after that stage, u'll be on the call floor edi..buddy-ing with the seniors there..i dun know the length of time for buddy-ing but after a short period of time, ur on ur own. all ur calls will be recorded & be given marks by the local soon-to-be-setup quality dept to evaluate all ur calls. (previously it was handle by taiwan people).

performance bonus?? fat hopes..highest performance bonus so far?? double digit nia...so...go figure..
shift work: 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm,9am-6pm,10am-7pm,11am-8pm,12noon-9pm,1pm-10pm,2pm-11pm,3pm-12am,4pm-1am and not to forget the nite shifts..
ur 'beloved' customers from taiwan?? they suck big time...they'll argue with u over every tiny little issue there...they will threaten to go to the press on wateva they feel is not good for them. they'll sue hsbc..they'll do this, they'll do that...imagine a country whereby senators can fight during menteri-menteri punya meeting...so....go figure urself..

js say that i'm not an customer service agent level la....training about product, process...no language training la..u know how to speak mandarin rite?? if fail the test, u get to re-sit the test for 2nd time..if stil fail, den too bad..it'll stil be sent to taiwan..but somehow it'll leave those taiwan fella & the local mgmt a bad impression lor.. bonus?! wat bonus?! slow-slow wait la..

their shifts are rotating on a monthly basis...

u mean from agent level straight to ass.manager?? it depends which process/dept ur in. and of cos it depends the availability of the position la....i'd say minimum 1 year if ur in agent level now.

customer service/front liners.....those who are taking calls, doing the daily works like a mad dog and get paid peanuts at the end of the day. not to forget oso kena fark by customers. that's agent level.

hhahhaa...count urself bad luck to have her as a trainer...to be frank, she's the oni trainer there...but others, they r ok... trust me. but good thing that u left oso...less stress for u... at least u gain some experience lor....

generally, it shud be 1 year..bcos if ur in as a freshie, u aint gonna get any promotion within that same year itself....but if ur there more den a year, and oso depends on which process are u in...if those old fart in ur dept won't leave, den most likely u might wanna look somewhere else edi. and on top of that, it depends on ur performance in the dept oso.

ok, let's get this straight...from level 8 to level 7, the increment will never go double off ur basic salary, that's for sure. from level 7 to level 6, oso same.... bcos it's local banking rules that each time increment must not be more than a certain percentage and HSBC-CJ is bound by that as well. (IINM the percentage is around 25-30 per year, dun quote me on this, i aint sure on the percentage)..... and all these increment watsoever, it reaaaaaally depends on the dept that ur in...it varies from dept to dept... and of course, be nice to ur bos.

the latter...ur perfomance, attendance etc is veli much the decisive factor here. in addition to that, kasi lap ur boss's shoes until kilat gao2. maybe u'll get the bigger pie in terms of increment. the amount?? there aint any fixed amount irregardless wat level ur in, but the HR does have a general guideline on this.. it differs from person to person cos the they calculate based on ur basic salary mah. average annual increment?? around 200 maybe?? i cud be wrong on the figure tho. dun quote me on this.

how much is she getting now? where is she staying now?? nature of job now?? maybe i can help whether if she can cope with life in HSBC-CJ..

OT?? fat hopes, there aint any OT there. allowance?? yes..there is...but den again, sigh....not that attractive la....fine they got the transportation free..but the time to trvl to work is kinda tiring ler...why not stick to the one that she has now...and look for some jobs that is nearer to her la...CJ?? pfffftttttt......i won't be returning there anymore...it's veli far for me and nothing interest me there anymore.

@ amir77...ok...the one that ur refering to is actually on UK process. yes, UK process wil have a different remuneration package than other process such as taiwan,HK, US, OZ...but r u sure about the basic salary double up thingie from level 8 to level 7?? cos i think it's abit ridiculous tho to have this kinda "salary double up" thingie going on in HDPM.

as for ur bonus enquiries..quarterly? yes, in UK process oni..others....i dun dink so...cos the UK process is abit different compare to the others..wat's the difference some might ask..well, i dunno.

i was in 2nd floor. i heard rumours that twccc might cease operation end of this year if things dun improve by then tho. and i said " RUMOURS" ...dun quote me on this.

wat u expect oh?? tbh u guys are the subsidiary of HSBC ler, not directly under HSBC punya u know.....u won't be enjoying most of the benefits in HSBC bank itself....same goes to e2power IINM.
