not sure why u have that issue.id advice send it back for warranty. no such problems with my touch

Well, last night I got a bit too frustrated it, and I ended pressing the top part of the screen quite hard. I believe the screen was probably touching the frame which confuses the touch screen functions. It's working fine since then except this morning when I switched it on again. I reset it and its working fine again. I hope it's the end of the problem or else I'm going send it in for warranty claim.

Guess I'm just the unlucky one since no one else has this problem.

it only state release memory.. what memory its release?

ram or rom?

could be applications conflict? does your touch clean from 3rd applications? maybe you should try to do hardreset? before sending to waranty.

Hi. Can you tell me how to disable the predictive text (XT9) in my HTC Touch.

The predictive text is driving me crazy.

I tried to go to Settings - Input and under word completion, I disable the suggest words when entering text. But the predictive text still active.

Please advise me.

Was wondering, does the 200Mhz difference between the Touch II and Touch Dual really apparent?? Performance wise and everything into consideration?

This is for sure 200mhz does effected the performance. If not they u wouldnt see there is a lot ppl are trying to overclock they touch..

Somemore there is someone make comparison between 400mhz 64ram 128 rom with touch II(Higher ram & rom)

And the result is higher clockspeed performance is better eventhough touch II had higher ram.

well.. just got my touch(enhanced version) at pda expert(curve) 2 days back.. price is RM1688 as said, no less whatsoever, but i did get a free upgrade to 2gb micro sd card.. since they only hav 2 unit left on that very day,and i dont feel like waiting for another week.. so what the hell..

so far so good, no problem whatsoever.. performance wise, i think its a tad faster than my old HP 6828 (considering the 201mhz processor speed) must be the 128mb ram! haha..

p/s: oh yeah.. thanks to everyone in this thread, the info was superb, especially evilpuppy!

I just bought myself a HTC touch Enhanced version at midvalley's pdaexpert comes with 2GB microSD with some nice apps included into it.

Just want to confirm some question.

1) We're able to connect to the Internet using the Activesync connecting using USB to our PC then to our StreamyX/Others. Does anyone tried? I want to update my weather report on my Touch.

2) I got Core Player, but I cant get it to play ".flv" files. Do I still need plugin to make this work? Quite a headache when I've inform the salesperson that I want to play .flv files alot..

3) Is there anyone with the Enhanced version using the HTC Home Customizer? or the Ifonz? I want to get it on my Touch this coming week. Now downloading all the files..

How much did you get your Touch for? and what's the package?

1)I tried before, even streaming also not a problem

2)It need a flv plugin because its not together with the installer.

3) I tried with that and it works fine but u need find the correct version(HTC home) if not there's brightness problem.
