I’m planning to get just the lower looks for my Saga Flx with 195/50/15, but I’ve read ton of threads about getting Springs instead of CO , some said getting just springs are actually much better driving experience and will be fine on stock shocks , any suggestions or advice on getting CO or just the lowering springs with stock shocks?
**I expect to get a more bumpy ride instead of soft like jelly ride which is having in stock sets right now

From what l hv read.. it ( lowering springs) was not designed for it so logically it will shorten a standard dampers life Thru experience only myvi shox leaked when l did tat - wife’s jazz is still fine at 70kkm albeit feel it’s softer.. My own fc(civic) has adjustables so cant really compare Wife’s jazz run eibachs n it’s not uncomfortable but d adjustables is..

both are fine. but stock shock is long stroke..without load the absorber already compressed due to short spring. while sport absorber is shorter to suit with shorter spring.

but in terms of life span..the stock shock will spoil sooner.

Yes it will shorten the lifespan of the shock absorbers, as they are constantly under load.
[unpopular opinion] IMO, save your money, keep it stock... move to better platform & spend the money there. [\unpopular opinion]

Some examples are eibach prokits and ftuned cls springs. Im on eibach springs and paired it with oem shocks till my shocks started to leak. Then I changed to performance shocks. The ride was even better and very comfortable for a lower setup. Maybe you can follow what I did if budget is a concern.

Yes they might not last as long as when using stock springs but for me its long enough until I also cannot remember when I changed the springs or how long already I have changed them. However the springs that I have used so far are from reputable brands designed to be compatible with stock shocks for example Tanabe NF or Eibach. and not extreme specs/extremely low/much stiffer spring rates. Of course if you have the budget to also combine with sport shocks like KONI, Bilstein, Kayaba SR, etc2, or even go with coil over altogether then those options are better but if you're on limited budget and still want to improve handling a bit, sport springs are still a viable option.
