No calls, no SMS, no email, no update on my SKMM complain eitherWhen I reach home last night, I check my router log and saw my WAN IP address changed. I was curious on why it happened so I did a speedtest Only after the speedtest is completed I check my UniFi account in TM's website and saw my account was upgraded from 500Mb/s to 800Mb/s This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 6 2018, 01:24 PM |

After 2 days of using 800Mb/s which I previously was on 500Mb/s, it seems that 500Mb/s is the sweet spot
800Mb/s doesn't make much difference as the maximum download speed from Steam, Battle.net, UPlay & Origin is about 70MB/s (560Mb/s) This post has been edited by sHawTY: Dec 6 2018, 08:01 PM |

QUOTE(pluginbaby @ Dec 6 2018, 09:01 PM) True indeed. Only a house filled with multiple heavy downloaders will utilize 800Mbps. 300-500Mbps should be good enough for a medium sized family I'm staying alone, 300Mb/s wouldn't be enough for meThe lowest I'll go for is 500Mb/s, nothing lower than that |

Alright, as promised, below is what I did to get TM to fulfill their promise to give all UniFi 100Mb/s RM189 (before SST) to Turbo 800Mb/s without any increment of monthly bills
Originally, TM only provide upgrade to Turbo 500Mb/s where I feel that TM does not keep to their promise This method is only applicable to UniFi customers where their original (before turbo) are paying RM189/month (before SST) for 100Mb/s. And for customers who only got Turbo'ed from 100Mb/s to 500Mb/s for RM189/month (before SST) I don't know if this method will work for customers who are paying less than RM189/month (before SST) 1. File a complain in Aduan SKMM website: https://aduan.skmm.gov.my 2. Choose the categories as below ![]() 3. Fill in all necessary details. Do not refrain from providing your IC number, phone number, email address & what not. You want SKMM/MCMC to help you, you will have provide all the details they require 4. In the "Problems Description", below is an example of what I typed: ![]() 5. In the attachments, upload your monthly bill to proof that you are paying 189/month (before SST) 6. Also in the attachments, upload this page grab from TM News Portal ![]() The process will be long, using foul words & chasing them everyday isn't gonna help your case |

QUOTE(jonuslee @ Dec 17 2018, 10:57 AM) Hi guys, want ask what's is the price for 800Mbps for those that get the free upgrade from 100Mbps? It depends on how much are you paying while you are on 100Mb/s |
