No, it's your setup that is slowing dowmn the speed, no way u can harness full bandwidth via repeater mode. Youre gonna have to wire it using LAN cable to see the difference.

What a privilege to have built in LAN cabling embedded inside the walls. Well, if all else fail, u can still transmit network signal via Homeplug to upper stair from your Tenda.

Regarding the hypptv thing, this is serious. Highlight the number and names of channels that are stb exclusive, compile into a list, complain why are we still charged for that and not supplied a hypptv box? Or are they coercing us to buy? Especially those ultimate pack customer.

U think they dont know what people's demands are? most ppl's demands are removing the tv pack completely while deducting RM30 from their bill. They do so (stop supplying dect phone and stb) for cost saving. I wont be surprised one day, the hypptv streaming via vlan600 will be cut off and discontinued.

They are adamant about shoving hypptv up customers a55es.

How much are they selling for? Is it rm300? they cant be serious about a huawei brick costing rm300 (look at taobao/alibaba, how much are they selling for the oem version, with the right tools, im confident u can make it a hypptv box) no?

Does Astro charge for supplying decoder and satellite dish? don't tell me those equipment are cheaper than huawei brick? u dont say?

For high rise, the last mile infra is governed by building management insead of local council, i doubt your building management would allow another fiber network by another ISP on top of Time's. Your building management would ask TM to ride Time's infra instead. Given TM's pride and ego, u think they wud do that?
