Hey Guys,

Got quite an emergency here.

The low fuel light just went off and I went straight to a petrol station just to find that my fuel door is stuck!

Is there anyone here that knows any other way to open it?
*
I experienced this before on a Myvi. You need to pull on the fuel release lever, while another try to pry it open as you're pulling the lever.'
One of the reason the foreman gave me was the spring might be stuck, or the release is jammed.

My car came with Hankook Kinergy EX
175/65/R14.

Was wondering if there's any advice from you guys about going for wider tires, or bigger rim?

I know going bigger rim/wider tire, you're going to sacrifice the eco advantage already (assuming that Perodua engineers already calculated the optimum settings for Bezza to be 175/65/R14)

Hi all! I have few questions need to ask, soon i will be getting a new bezza biggrin.gif

Which part of soundproofing is sufficient and essential for bezza? With reasonable price. I am thinking of getting hood insulator, door comfort & vibratile from SC. I am open to any other options.

What other things that need to take care for new bezza to prevent other common problems?
*
I got the Anti Theft brackets, seems like a sensible choice to protect from car thieves, or make it harder for them in the event they took a fancy to my car.

Can I know what is this Anti Theft brackets? Is it the one that lock the brake paddle?
*
Anti theft brackets are tiny mechanism they install on to the car door lock mechanisms to prevent thieves from using a ruler/stick to unlock your car from the window (like in the movies).

yeah, the eco idle function is not useful if we don't know how to maximize the benefit of it.
*
I usually turn off the Eco Idle assist when doing city driving, especially when it's jam.
Serious note though, there was once, I came to a stop at a jam and right when I came to a full stop, the car in front of me moved.
At that time my car already went into idle less than a second and started again. The auto idle light started flashing.

Hope I didn't do any major damage. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

if you really wanna reap the benefit of eco idle, you need to have the idle stop to kick in for at least 5 seoncds to make sense (and also make cents from the fuel saving). You have to be able to time your stoppage time so that you able to let the eco idle kick in as long as it could. ANd you need to be a bit tahan panas as the blower is blowing normal air during eco idle operation. a word of advise is, don't do it in the midday and hot day. you will go crazy.
the flashing green light, it means you are summoning the avengers hence it is flashing. Ironman will come to you. If not, captain america.  brows.gif

There's nothing to worry about the green light flashing. You should be worried if you see the ECO Idle OFF Orange Light flashing.
*
I seem to recall that happening as well. The orange light assist off indicator flashing between the green and orange. Freaked me out for a bit.

Knowing Malaysian drivers in KL jam, it's like if the car in front moves, and you don't/lag 2-3 seconds, they start raging/honking. If they see even a car space in front of you they honk. So yeah, that's why I had that happen. I came to a complete stop, just as I stopped (Idle starts just about a second), car moves, so I release brake and move. Then Eco light goes crazy between orange and green. Then I just turned the assist off. Panicked a moment there.

Syukur ada kereta, but this one comes with even more security like the ASA.
I wonder if there'll be an option to install on current Bezza.

i'm having the same thought as well, i would like to have the ASA2.0 to be available for retrofitting. If it cost RM5k i think it still OK.
*
New Bezza AV, shoot to 50k. ohmy.gif

Been driving my Bezza for three months so far, currently at 7000km.
Recently when crossing over bumps at a respectably slow speed (the speed that seems like you're afraid of hitting the under carriage), I notice/can hear a slight ticking sound coming from the rear end as the rear end clears the bump during the drop (like at the top of the bump coming down, that drop).

Any Bezza users having this issue as well?

just completed my 1k checking service on last week.

from last month collect car and drove about 2 weeks, noticed that steering senget abit to the right , when driving on straight road. last week feedback to service center, they say re-alignment not included into warranty, the cost is RM 51 and also mentioned during car collection, must check accordingly. once car drive out of Perodua premises, no more warranty coverage (speechless). at the end, i fix at outside cost RM25

Tapi steering alignment...mine I got my usual tire place to help me out. Did it for free boss.

I think there's nothing wrong with sending in your car for maintenance early. Early is better than late

QUOTE(papermeh @ Mar 1 2020, 11:33 PM)
Just want to rant a bit on the fuel consumption!

So, my Bezza Advance is 1 year old (1 year 1 months to be exact, about 15000 KM).

Bezza advertised to have 22 KM/L, so I expect to get 15-16 KM/L in real life, but from day 1 until my 2nd service on yesterday, I got around 13.5 KM/L, fine, I was always stuck in traffic jam for my journey from Cheras to PJ during peak hour, although I felt a bit unsatisfied with that level of fuel consumption, but I don't really complaint.

Then on yesterday, I went for the 2nd service, the service centre recommend for alignment and nitrogen, claiming will get better fuel consumption, so I agreed to it, since the price is quite reasonable. After the service, I reset the average fuel consumption meter, and has been driving around highway and housing area road on weekend, really no jam at all since it's weekend, and guess what? my average fuel consumption is 9.5 - 10 KM/L, that is even worse than my 16 years old Proton Saga (auto)!!!!

I don't keep heavy objects in my car, I only keep 1 pair of safety boot, I drive alone 90% of the time (I'm about 75kg), always keeping the tyre at the recommended 36 bar, and I don't drive harshly (ok, maybe 5% of the time), yet still get such a low level of fuel efficiency  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

Hey mate, I've been driving my Bezza for about 6 months now.
I've only been on 2 long drives to Penang (meaning 4 if you count to and fro), other than that it's all within town driving.
Been getting consistent 15-15.6km/l so far. Mileage now is at 8900km and going for 10,000km service this Wednesday.

P.s.: I sometimes, drive pedal to metal too, to overtake, cause aggravated by drivers going 50km/h bangwall.gif

Perodua is under Raytech panel, your sales agent should/would probably give you a voucher for tinting or something?
Cause that's what I got from my sales agent.
