Just kiddin...for me to run-in based on my ideal requirements, is to drive it like a maniac & let the engine work. But reality & situations do not allow me to do so...haha.

Ok on a serious note, to not exceed certain rpm & speed indeed is an old wives tale in today's context. In fact, the engine should be condition to work in every situation during run-in with both city & highway driving. Sometimes even also must floor pedal to kick in high rpm to simulate fast overtaking maneuvers.

The rpm should not be too consistent during the run-in stage. Just drive like what u will to a normal car. Cheers fr a Silver one too.
*
I get your point. So just drive as usual.

QUOTE(singk @ Sep 12 2019, 01:23 PM)
just don't drive like mad cow all the time will do. let me ask you a question, if it is the matter of urgency, will you still prioritize the "pantang" of not vroom vroom or you really whack it to get yourself out of trouble?

i think a brief vroom like a second or two won't be a big deal, keep on vrrom like speeding 160kph for two hours continuously, then it is not a right thing to do.
*
Yup, definitely not gonna drive like hooligan hahaha

I don't get it, do not drive at any one constant speed, either fast or slow.
As in, don't drive at the same speed?
Either I drive fast or I drive slow?
Or vary the driving speed? Kejap laju vroooom, then slow macam uncle?

Is there any harm in mixing RON95 and RON97?
I've always been using 95, tank still has 2/3 bars, thinking to pump after work today.

the engines are tuned for ron95 minimum, with the high compression ratio of bezza engine, ron97 is a tat better than ron95 as it able to reduce knocking, but then, the gain is so subtle that you won't feel it, and even the gain in the fc will not able to offset the additional cost for ron97. if you really wanna clean your injectors, i personally think that slam in a bottle of techron concentrate will be helpful. ron97 fuel is euro4m standard which is lesser sulphur so i believe you will get a cleaner combustion chamber with lesser sulphur deposit and also cleaner emission, but then, malaysian (the rakyat and the government) give no damn about emission (unlike EU countries)
no problem at all, just that you are simply paying more for nothing.
mixing ron95 and ron97 and you will get ron96. hahahaha..... devil.gif  devil.gif  devil.gif  jokes aside, i don't think it will be an issue. just don't mix diesle with your petrol will do.

Hahaha, thanks man. I thought you'd say Ron192 biggrin.gif

Just to have an idea question.

How much mileage does your Bezza get with RM50 petrol? Mine says 491km after pumping in, when there was 1 bar left. Not much speeding done yet as car is only 600km in as of now.

Usually cruising along around 80/90kmh for now. Driving to work and back, some grocery shopping around the housing area.

I realized the mileage drops really fast. As in, the petrol bars on the screen drops quite fast.

Any of you claimed warranty for paintjob before? The paint on my bumper is peeling off already and the car is only two months old.

I get that sometimes, but I noticed that having my phone in the same pocket as the key fob tends to block the signal. Sometimes it won't detect until I remove my phone from my pocket.
*
I get this too sometimes, when I keep it in the same pocket with my wallet, and the wallet is in front of the key fob/blocking the key fob.
Maybe because my wallet has RFID blocking or something.

How much?

I got a voucher from Perodua for the tinting. Can't really recall what was it for, but Raytech offered to convert the voucher for a RMxxx off for any of their other tinting.
Also, since Perodua is part of Raytech's panel, they deducted the cost fee = more discount!

All in all, I took the option that was JPJ compliant for darkness, 30% front, 50% all other windows. 65% heat reduction. Came up to 600.

Didn't need to add security as Bezza AV comes with security on their windows.

rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Also, fitted according to JPJ rules 30% front, 50% all the rest, covered by Raytech. If any summons, Raytech bear. Ini syok.

my personal experience on ron95

Shell - no power , fuel save
BHP - very power , ave.
Petronas - slightly power , ave.
Petron - less power , ave.
Caltex - dont know

FC = Shell > Petronas > BHP > Petron

Power = BHP > Petronas > Petron > Shell

i will either use only BHP or SHELL

this was noticed last time when i have a MyviSE , due to it revvy setting , i can feel the different

Bezza till now i only use SHELL.

if you are heavy foot , go with better power fuel , it will save more.
*
Tried Caltex over the week, I'd say

Caltex - Moderate Savings, Moderate Power

Bro,  that post 2018.... Haha

I fetch a pax told me caltex is the best fuel told by his friend who work in fuel industry.

Caltex do give smoother gearchange and power delivery,  it make the overall ride smoother while FC is quite good,  not as good as shell though.

I would recommend use shell or caltex over bhp, petronas, petron.
*
Hahaha ya man, I was using it over the weekend, and recalled I saw a post about petrol usage/consumption somewhere on this thread

Hi guys, anyone know who i can ask to get confirmation on warranty? I want to change rims and i ask around some say they "think" it should be ok and 1 guy even told me if i change anything at all perodua would completely void my whole car warranty.
Anyone know which is the most reliable service center in malaysia to ask this? I just want to change my rims, size remains the same it just a different color and design that all.
*
I'm not much help, but I think sending an email or giving a call to Perodua HQ could help?

Nice.

Took a drive to Penang, was on Petronas going up, kept around 100/110, occasional 130 to overtake.
Arrived with 2 bars, about 80km range left.

Going around the island and coming back, was on Caltex. Same thing, 100/110, but this time there was a 1 hour crawl of 10km/h as they closed off the opposite lane for roadworks.
Still came back with 3 bars, and a range of 130km.

Mileage was 15.6km/l still far from the advertised 22km/l biggrin.gif probably need to spend more time on the highways.
