Hi, I got my Bezza (1.3 Advance) 2 months ago, did not drive everyday, current mileage is below 3k.
Just like to see if some of the 'problems' I found are actual problems with my car or just the overall design problem.

Fuel Consumption:

Noise:

Gear/transmission:

Touch Panel/Entertainment:

Eco Idle system:

*
FC - consider bad for bezza , but you should judge it after first engine oil change , most bezza has no fc problem , should be averaging 14-16.
( recommend Caltex , i use shell and caltex most of the time )

Noise - i think it bezza/axia is the worst in the current market

Gear - the throttle are slow , but holding at first gear never experience before , should have no problem with this gearbox , as your car still new , goes into conclusion after 10k or more. ( uphill the engine will feel unwilling to put down power - normal )

HeadUnit - no idea since i only have x version

Eco Idle - most of the time this system is build to pass pollution regulation only on higher end car , unless they could make it more practical , i think mazda and honda one quite good? not sure. ( i test drive Adv before , the idle last for 36seconds only max )

since you already bought the car , just live with it. ( the were more problem to come after you drive it more >.< ) but need not worry since Perodua car are reliable. So far no major problem from anyone.

have a look at fc , found that the fc shown are actually higher than actual

i use Trip A to count my milleage everyday , found that i actually travel about 220km for rm25 fuel ( 12liter ) = 18.33km/l while my screen show 16.1km/l

you guys can test

so how i know the fuel level?

see range lets say current range left 100km , you go refill and ignore the new range
then reset Trip A , wait until the range left 100km again , then you check your Trip A.

Guys, battery advance cost 500++??
The service center told me need to change already because left 35%, is that correct?

user posted image
*
when i service at 30k , they told me battery level low , i dint change and current is 35k km , still using no problem , about 3month from 30k.

35% is alot in my opinion , and nowadays got apps like carput , batteryku etc , as long you are not far from city area , should have no problem getting a battery change. one who use batteryku before say the price was same and no delivery charges.

Hi tq... manual fold i'm ok.. but sometimes while driving i make adjustments to view angle of side mirror which i can't do now bcos remote not available...

took almost 4mos. to get the car.. order black but no stock.. so ended up with this.. but still good tho..
*
Ok , dint know you mean the mirror angle, that surprise me Abit 1.0 don't have , anyway as long no second person drive my car and adjust , I don't adjust it once set.

1.0 don't have seat adjuster as well right? Are you ok with that? Just want to know , but save alot money ( 7k from purchase price alone , that's almost 20% )

I don't think you can install it easily if there were no motor inside the side mirror , mine no Auto fold I believe not cheap as well if want to install.

And wiring stuff later no warranty.

What else equipment that you think you need it please list out.
So far I can see only seat height adjustment
Mirror angle troublesome Abit when need to adjust still not a big deal

How is the vibraton on 1.0 etc? I do feel the engine more torque and eager to go , very very suit city drive.

Bro, can you confirmed the wiring is there on Gxtra? FYI my Premium X doesn't have the wiring for the folding motor.
*
Not folding mirror but the mirror angle adjust.

Ya, no seat height adjust for the driver side..but I can live with that...
The SA said the wiring and everything is available, it's just the remote not included as it is basic..
Asked my SA to arrange for it on the 1st month check.. just like earlier today... having trouble looking thru the left side mirror while driving so had to ask my fiance to help adjust...

Yes saved quite a money, bcos have to that for something else  biggrin.gif

vibration, ok lah... better than with the axia..
but I like the steering wheel of this one.. very light and easy to turn... i tried the new myvi and axia quite heavy/hard when turning..

as of now.. i can say very happy with it...
*
maybe can go those chop shop or else buy from perodua hq / repair shop ask see , but need cut a hole .... i think wont be nice.... or see find a place to put.

if success fixing please post the picture here and tell us the cost.

perfect car for city drive , highway short trip still ok.

I know what he wrote/meant. Gxtra trim no wiring for the side mirror at all AFAIK. He wrote that his SA told him the wiring all there and I'm comparing with my Premium X where Perodua omitted even for 1 or 2 wiring. Which doesn't make economic sense to get 2 or 3 vendors(perhaps) to make different wire harness.

My previous Korean ride have all the necessary wiring installed.
*
Ok , i understand wrong your word haha , well SA word is all truth before you receive the car lols , others product same thing , actually don't know can blame them or not , sometime they really " don't know ", as i experience that a car lover that keep search on the internet will know more than the sales person , but if you say No , you might not close the deal , so.....

the most famous one i think will be Warranty , 5 year Warranty Bumper to Bumper

then you go service center ,ohh this 1 year , this 3 year , this 3month , only engine and gearbox 5 years.

planning to get Bezza 1.0 Gxtra AT for my parent. Was considering Bezza vs Axia 1.0 Standard G AT, I think extra RM2k for big boot is kind of worth it

- won't be going up to Genting, just city drives and probably once in a while driving to KLIAs from Klang Valley
- heard the brake is weak, can that be resolved?
- compared to Axia, i noticed Bezza don't have height adjustable driver seat and rear speaker.. is that correct?
*
Bezza worth the 2k
It is a better car ( from what others said ) and currently alot cosmetic make it look good compare to last time all plastic

KLIA need boot space
brake is "ok" even grab driver dint do any mod for long hour driving
Yes , height adjuster could be a deal breaker , rear speaker not so....
other than that the second one should be the side mirror angle adjusting control.

Bezza safer than axia , buy what you feel better , test drive first , somehow in the city Axia will be more easy to maneuver and park , and Axia is based on toyota car , while Bezza is Malaysian build. ( i mean the design of car )

If your parents is car enthusiasm , can consider Iriz icon_rolleyes.gif

Wait for others comment as well.

Yesterday i finally use the Front parking sensor again haha , it was a useless equipment that perodua should just take it out lols. It is useful when you try to park as front as possible without the need to go down , and the sensor i dont trust it very much as those bump on parking ( i dont know how to call that ) are not height enough to be detected by the sensor, also the sensor does not actually let you go too near. the 2nd useless would be auto start stop i believe

oh ya forgot the side mirror angle control
if safer than Axia then it's a guaranteed buy already
design wise don't really care if ugly butt or not hha
*
Bezza and Axia share same structure design for safety , but use stronger steel for certain part

If Safety your main concern , then Iriz will be the best choice , ESC across the range.

but really just use for like drive go pasar stop, go eat stop , go friend house stop , go buy sometime stop , then perodua will be more convenient.
like those old kancil >.< , ( Axia is current kancil )

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3l9v6ek4JQ
Perodua never really emphasize on safety but more to " weight reduction " thus more fuel save.

Bezza and Axia has the same height and width , only longer.

Test drive most important.

Go some rough road ( test comfort / ride ) , some slow speed ( test gearbox ) , some high speed ( 100km/h enough to test nvh ) , dont test on new tar road , i think only 20% of our road is nice surface , then maybe some overtake at low speed , high speed , then u-turn , high speed and low speed braking. self think what more need to test haha , but since it is a test , do it safely.

i dont understand a bit on my car situation:

sometimes when passenger disembarks and closes the door, my keyless entry icon on dash will blink for some time before it stops, and i dunno y
*
Mine never occur , try change the key location as near to the push start button and try. If still occur maybe something wrong with the system. There were few sensor located , manual book got stated.

key detection when engine off and key in car seems fine, its only when engine active and when passenger doors, 3 of them any one, opens and closes, it loses detection for a while
*
Yes , my suggest to test is to put the key as near as those sensor and try again see whether it happen , i normally put at middle cup holder there , or door pocket.

I think i never heard of this problem. If possible try make a video upload to youtube and send us the link here , this could spread the issue faster and hopefully someone who know what happen can help to solve.

Ofcourse send to Perodua SC will be the best , but i hope to know what happen , learning......

But if send to SC prepare to have this answer , " is like that one ", " no problem it is normal " ......

could it be the wireless charger or bluetooth interruption?
*
Just hope it is not the system , where they mix up signal with open door and key not detected.... then they might need to change or reset the system.
just my speculation haha , i am not a car expert

All Sifu out there, need some advice.
I got an offer Honda City 1.5 S , 2017, mileages less than 25k. Selling 53k. Worth to buy?
Cause I already place booking for bezza 1.3 premium.
Thinking of go for bezza or city.
*
Offer from friend and relative? why they sell it?

https://www.carlist.my/new-cars/2017-honda-...s-sedan/3013496

If good condition City is for sure a better car than bezza , the mileage is low.

Guys, why after I start my car and then shift the gear from P to R is very hard to shift?

Any solutions to this?

What is function of Shift-Lock button?
*
It is normal if after you put P and your car still moving abit like at slope , thus the gear locked.

You can try go to complete Stop , dont let go Brake , put into P , pull handbrake , make sure the car dint move at all , then should be ok.

Wait for others comment.

Shift-Lock is use when you cant shift , example battery zero but need to put gear to N for towing purpose , then shift lock will release the lock.
