it requires more voltage compared when i oced with my 570U..
and restart/BSOD often appeared..i wonder why 

regarding of what u replied earlier, i dun think its a bad hardware combination 
maybe there are some setting that i need to tweak more..

TA690G user with same BIOS like me, perhaps u can share ur 3.0GHz setting?

not all mobo can handle same setting....
not all mobo have good OC controlling....

TF7050 would be my choice, but you can try TA690G as well. Personally i prefer nvidia chipset mobo coz i've trusted nvidia so far and it has nv fail me b4

p/s: wow, just realized that there are many people using biostar mobo. Maybe next time we can form  'LYN Tforce LAN Party' or 'Biostar OC Rig show off party'............

What HT/ RAM divider ? I just set my RAM to 533Mhz in BIOS, though my RAM is 667Mhz. But, after OC, the RAM is 533 X 1.25 =667Mhz...

My Kingston RAM can not OC one, it will automatically restart computer if I put 667Mhz x 1.25 = 833Mhz

I can only go till 2.41Ghz only above that it will not post or load to window.

Ok......figured out the prob. This board needs to pump the chipset voltage  Never had to do that with my old neo4 platinum. Pushed it til fsb 300 stable 

Hmm....but now got another issue. Wen i 1st clocked it to 2.6ghz it would hang after posting(while loading windows) and even hang at post. No matter how much i pump voltage it wud still do dat. However after i reset to lower settings and pump voltage then fsb, it works perfectly. Could be my bios or smth?

2500hz vcore: 1.5 , 667 cpu/6 417mhz . vdim:1.95(max already)

test around 3 hour prime 95 no prob , when i go to play carbon i feel system unstable . after few minute overall system hang . press restart . game end . T.T

Finally able to use x9 multiplier. Needed to flash the bios. 2.85ghz stable after orthos ran for 16hrs.

Damn lah my house room temp soo hot. My 2.8GHz Brisbane while at college temp around 43-45C, but when I bring home my rig, idle at 49-51C. Then later around evening 3pm or something, that day soo hot it reached 55-56C! Then crash

Please don't ask me to prime it as it is not stable yet. I'm still figuring how to set those ram sub-timings in BIOS and also memset in windows in order to make it stable

i already stop trying polygon's modded bios for a while as i've realized that most of his modded bios for TF6100am2 did not play a good role in temperature sensing. With his modded bios, i couldn't use the biostar hardware monitor to detect the temperature accurately. Of coz , i only try his TF6100am2's BIOS b4 and it was long time ago.

so, it mean the ram speed have the limit ?? am i rite.. how much the limit for that?/

already pushed to 2.45Ghz.higher than that not stable. limited by my Vdimm..
i think will stop here for a while. this speed should be enough for my 24/7 usage...later if my hand starting itchy again, will get better mobo and also brisby..
