it seems working...now can orthos more than 10min!!!! 

anyway...will try orthosing more and more to see that the proc is good with 3Ghz o not    anyway...

i wanna ask u all about my problem.
recently i bought MSI K9N SLi Platinum + AMD X2 5600+ processor.
the problem is, an error come out when i try to boot it up. is said the mobo doesnt recognize this proc revision number. i guess it because the proc is new than the mobo. ( i dunno the exact reason ).

but i google in the MSI website, and i found the update. the update contains CPU ID update. so, i guess this is the solution for my problem. but i dunno how to update it since the mobo doesnt recognize my proc. how i want to update it without getting other proc?

last time i even tried benchmarking between higher HT link (1300mhz)  and lower one (960Mhz). seems like the one with lower HT link got better score compared to the other one.....

i'm using a 4000+ brisbane 65w chip paired with biostar's tf-7050..

how do i set the FSB:DRAM thing? what shd be the ideal setting? currently running 240mhz bus on stock voltage and stock cooling. FSB:DRAM showing CPU/11 = 229MHz.. what does this mean?? what shd the ideal number be like?

all i did was adjust the bus frequency and set the HT to 4x. Ram was locked to 400mhz. is there anything else that i should set to get the optimal overclocking at this speed?

   

nope...proc still in china...they are having their national day holiday now.. after tomolo then only i can proceed with the banking stuffs. Those who show me their interest in earlier ...thank you. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed with the proc's oc ability.

this is wat i heard from them....they found 200 pieces proc .... all can hit 2.8G with stock vcore....around 100 pieces of them can hit 3G with stock vcore... and stock vcore for this windsor is 1.20v-1.23v ... i dunno what they will give me...but they said that i won't be dissapointed with those proc... let's hope something good will happen.

Due to the quality the procs are very good..they hv change their promise again ...from guarantee 2.8G into guarantee 2.9G. Now i just hope everything goes smooth and softly

maybe you can tweak ur ram timings abit, can get much more better efficiency

maybe you can try the change the ram-timings 1st,
change 5-5-5-15-21-1T to 4-4-4-7-11-2T and see,
after that you can try to tweak the ram sub timings by using memset...
btw, TF6100am2 is not a good mobo,
i use it b4, and i've performed vmod on it ( after vmod max vdimm = 2.6v)
but couldn't overclock my ram also ( my ram is D9GKX ram chipset, capable to hit 1200 with 2.44v on my TF7050)
i guess it has something to do with the mobo bios,
not really well designed for DDR2 ram overclocking
