nowadays buying private variable UT is like buying bursa stock...too many unit trust to choose from...thats why i still prefer Bursa compared to private UT...same effort required to choose the best UT/Stock..

so make it simple and straightforward:

- UT is mainly moderate/high risk, definately for long term minimum 5 yrs to able to see significant return...plus u need committed/experienced UT agent who good in adjusting portfolio whenever required..otherwise your UT might sink unnoticed...

- ASNB FP is low-risk and for people who expecting stable return. no need to depend to UT agent and no need checking price fluctiation...
conclusion...which is better is purely depending on your risk appetite...

I've just opened by ASNB account but i've not managed to get the initial Rm100 in to open the online ASNB account.

I've tried morning and afternoon everyday for the past week but i can't get the fund.

Can anyone help to suggest what time is the best time to try my luck to get the fund in? A.k.a when do people normally withdraw.

Hello, I'd like to ask a question about ASB regarding something I have been told people doing but I can't justify or see the reason behind. I know different people can have different interest and goals and perhaps in doing this thing there is something beneficial.

So... I have been told to divide my ASB financing investment in smaller pieces, let's say instead of taking up a full 100k or 200k ASB loan, divide it in for example 4 25k or 4 50 k differentiated investment. I am not sure if they supposed to be of different tenure like one of 5 yrs one of 10 yrs and so on, it wasn't clear.

Anyone heard about this way of doing things? but how exactly and for what reason?
