Email asnb to ask...

Anyway, even can, I will also keep RM 100 inside, who knows account may get automatically cancelled due to no unit, endless possibility.

Any prospectus for download d?

Unfortunately, no. But can assume it is rather safe since government involved and owned 70%.

QUOTE(veera77 @ Nov 14 2018, 09:26 PM)
I bought @ S2Height 8 yrs ago 240k (wife govt loan) and now bank value 560k..

So, capital gain 320k (133% over 8 yrs @ average 17% per year)
If i sell today, Tolak 3% 20k (agent fee) and gain tax 5% (15k)..still i make 320-20-15 = 285k

Net gain = 285k / 240k = 119% (average 15% pa)..

Another rich uncle detected.
Anyway, if count compounded interest, it was 10 to 11% p.a., by simple interest then 15% p.a..

True for my case also...bank value 560k...but can’t get buyer even i put asking price 550k (nego) ..sad.gif
*
This makes me think about Fundmyhome, if bank value 560k, and it is owning 80% share, then the 20% share buyer desperately wanted to sell after 5 years, stuck there for months to years only?

Personally don't think next year bursa will good , USa there belum habis jatuh .
*
Bursa doesn't necessarily need to follow US market. In 08, US is having subprime mortgage crisis, but our house price is shooting up till 2013 according to uncle.

As long as more than FD, and more or less same with EPF. We don't really have any better RISK FREE investment.

But if you took risk, then it is entirely different story. Given risk is lose all the money, the best return in recent years is cryptocurrency, easily 100x return or more if you are early buyers.

cryptocurrency , like bitcoin ar ? To me ,Sounds scam .

Now new gov planning Harapan coin , really hard to understand what they are thinking.
*
Yes, pizza price in the past can worth millions now, you can imagine the ROI...

Bitcoin, ethereum (mother of ICOs, suspect Harapan coin using this technology as well), ripple (which partner with cimb), etc..

It wasn't really scam, willing buyers, willing sellers... Speculative investments, then yes..

But the whole thing is too complex for average people to understand...

main trick in high risk investment is realized vs unrealized gain...if u are not good in realizing ur gain at right time...next day all might disappear  bye.gif

imagine during crypto at usd20k...let say unrealized gain was 100x...but today maybe only 20%....

greedy always will overcome ur smartness  devil.gif

in low risk investment like ASNB, FD and EPF...we not need to deal with greedy
*
This is true, as I mention before, one year 50% drop can wipe out 10 years annualised 8% gains. For stock market, it is always happened.

For crypto case it is a bit extreme. From 200 USD to 20k usd, it is 100x gains, but now also got around 6k USD, which is 30x gains. But if you really bought at 200 USD, I bet you will release them way before 1k USD...

And the 5% tax lagi😪😪😪

I see and agree with your point. However, you'll be amazed how many people are not aware of how they can put their idle cash to work.
These are the people who proudly pay cash for a new car and think those who take loans are not wise.
*
Not much people got time and effort to utilise the idle cash. If take car loan and put idle cash in FD only, then it is not wise too.
