Edit : I looked at my statement and the lowest balance I had on Apr 1 was before all the purchases made on Apr 1. Anyone ever got written confirmation from ASN that levy is given for purchases made on 1st calendar day of the month to entitle for dividend?

It's traded almost in real time though no one really knows how soon it's made available when someone redeems (sells) the units. It really depends on ASN. When you sell, you're actualy redeeming it from ASN, not the buyer.

Yes your understanding is correct. Or try from maybank2u site for $1 fee upon successful purchase. Note that sometimes it just eat your money and you have to lodge complaint to get it back.

it's instant. Only difference is the risk of temporarily losing your 1money when maybank2me goes berserk and having to pay $1 transaction fee upon successful purchase in exchange of no catchas.
