well i always believe that pnb have lurkers here and when you go on post to the whole world about your script kiddy (siap promote youtube video lagi) or providing captcha services for a fee (why would you disclose all your personal info to another person who will see your account balances, full name, address, IC number, bank account number, etc2), do you honestly think they just will sit idle and do nothing ke?

this is obviously an example of a few rotten apple spoils the whole basket; which is why we can't have nice things.

i don't think they have a choice. bursa has been bungkus for 5 out of the last 6 years and i doubt they can continue to hope on bursa for any much longer. much better to diversify and spread the risk to a number of markets so that if some markets bungkus, the other markets can prop-up. EPF made the smart move to do it years ago and pnb is now only catching up.

expect a lot of other glic to follow suit.

epf's mandate is they're vof cannot exceed more than 45% invested in local equities so they had to diversify overseas out of this limitation rather than managing risks but lucky for them it turned out to be a good move indeed. pnb is doing the same but with their total investments making up 10% of the entire bursa market, i'm sure the regulators will not allow them to pull out so drastically.

it will be gradual and the benefit may not be seen for at least 5 years. those who have no idea what investing horizon is and just follow crowd who are panicking will dump asx only to cry blood tears in the future out of regret.

this one is the hardest because it is so built in to the asian culture

i asked this in the WA group before, wonder if the "guru" main income is the "strategy" that he/she claim is PERFECT or actualy living off the seminar/talks. i mean if the "strategy" is so good, do you really need to rely on "seminars/talks" for income?

i'm not a skeptic but the bubble tea is definitely a fad that will die off. only ppl who benefit from this will be healthcare provider.

if thinking long term and it's not a tulip mania, i will invest in companies doing dialysis and/or provide diabetic medication.
