I thought they did the buy back the past few months to redistribute as dividend. That's why no one was able to buy. So there is probably no dilution in shares.
Is the report out yet? We can compare the number of units issued.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Mar 30 2019, 09:19 PM) U mean annual report? That one out in 2 month time 😁 Yes kua. Ok if anyone curious or bothered to find out if there's been any buybacks, can count from this year's annual report vs last year's.

QUOTE(rivendell @ Mar 31 2019, 10:44 AM) To all the sifus here, What should I do if I didn't get immediate refund from m2u after a failed transaction to ASNB ? Usually how long the refund will take ? Thanks You can call them or goto nearest branch and report. I did both. Few days got back my money minus the $1 commission.

QUOTE(NotHideOnBush @ Mar 31 2019, 11:02 PM) Hi all sifu, there is a lot of information about buying in this thread. How about withdrawal? We can go any bank agent branch for withdrawal for ASM1/2/3? Yes, you can. Post office can too. PNB office should be ok too. QUOTE(ChocoChipz @ Mar 31 2019, 11:29 PM) Just out of curiosity, how are these loans calculated? monthly basis? annual basis? I'm not bumiputera, so I don't know. But I've read there could be penalty for early settlement (if BLR skyrockets). Ask everything you could think of before taking the loan. looks like ASN site only updated the ex-dividend price but not the number of units. I just lost 5% of my VP fund (used to open account of course). If they prorate somemore, going to lose more money. No wonder always hear people lose money in trust funds.

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Apr 1 2019, 08:48 AM) Well in asnb Only buys FP funds.. VP funds performance is just so so only.. Break even takes 3 to 5 years.. Sometimes more 😈 I think applies to all non-Fixed Price trust funds, not just ASN. right? Unless they outperform the commission they charge. In this case, no need to beg people to buy. QUOTE(LittleShinyStar @ Apr 1 2019, 09:15 AM) it's never been opened for a few moons already woh. This post has been edited by beLIEve: Apr 1 2019, 09:22 AM

QUOTE(xeon1989 @ Apr 1 2019, 10:19 AM) I wonder if anyone did called myASNB Hotline 03-80268101 to clarify this. Guess they will have same canned response, ask to try again later. didn't bother to call with the assumption that people on the phone also don't know what error is that.

QUOTE(jorgsacul @ Apr 1 2019, 10:23 AM) Wait till after lunch 🤫 I go take out asm thanks for sharing. if ASN don't sell, we won't be able to buy. They will just allow you to redeem but don't put it up for sale.

QUOTE(ChocoChipz @ Apr 1 2019, 10:48 AM) So basically just like normal home loan whereby interest is added on every month. Taking a loan at 4%+1.5% to buy ASM over the last year would have resulted in a loss then If settle early got penalty then this special loan is for bumiputera and ASB* only. ASB2 6% still can cover, unless they got it at a higher rate. I think no one will take loan to buy ASM, unless some personal arrangement with friends and family. Bank personal loan interest is very the high.

QUOTE(wozzie2803 @ Apr 1 2019, 11:25 AM) called them..they said technical error.. technical team is working on it.. asked to try again in the afternoon.. Just be prepared in the event that they couldn't fix it by today, you will lose 1 month's dividend if buy tomorrow. That's about 8% of total dividend.

QUOTE(WannaGetBuffed @ Apr 1 2019, 11:41 AM) Today already 1st April....they will still take the lowest of the month right that's what I heard. But if cannot fix today and only get to buy tomorrow, 1 moon's dividend gone already. Personally, I don't think it's worthwhile to lose 8% of the dividend just to get ASM1.
