But is it (asnb) so transparent? I was thinking, well, just for discussion purpose, it is not that difficult to achieve ~6% dividend and I was wondering why they can't create more funds ASM4, 5, 6,..... etc.
There are many financial tools that can be utilized to achieve >6% , even some years' inflation is more than 5%. But of course can't expect too much as it is FP and "quite" stable.
It could be better however, it didn't become worse (if 5.5 compare to 6.x previously).
In fact, all these are some ponzi schemes, well the whole financial system is a huge ponzi scheme and there are some illegal one.

No doubt typhoon is coming and everybody is looking for a safe habour to park their money. For local, beside bonds (which need to do some homeworks), FD, this (ASNB) is no doubt one of the choices.

btw, this ASW2020, need to have nomination or a trust declaration set up or can a written will take care of those? which one easier/faster to execute?

I guess unker panjang not here yet. If you study economy, when borrowing costs and savings interest go down, spending and borrowing should increase. This is expected to spur the economy.

But Malaysia PE wayyy higher than its fair PE. Make it very unattractive.

for youngsters, definitely good if OPR down - can spend more. for old uncles and aunties who are trying to preserve wealth, then not so good.

according to the T&C,
does this mean the 'penerima' must be existing ASNB fund account holders?
For example there are 5 'penerima' and all of them do not have ASNB account,
they are not eligible to be the 'penerima'?
Anyone knows and could kindly advise?
