QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 22 2018, 08:07 PM) Ooh.. not easy to convince her to come bank or ASNB counter...some people simply hate all this transaction matter ..or might a trap like uncle said...soft resistance for any withdrawal/transfer transaction This must be before ASM suspended... Well u can do some adjustment.. Transfer some asm2 to wife.. And wife transfer some asm1 to u Win win 🙏 QUOTE(DBHILUHDAQWISRTNJ @ Nov 22 2018, 08:14 PM) Mr veera77 , it's a trap, bahaya, yes exactly...as i mentioned above...yes it could be soft resistance to avoid withdrawal/transfer, by saying 'i like to come to bank' ha ha don't transfer units to your wife . QUOTE(ywliang96 @ Nov 23 2018, 12:17 AM) I do saw maybank offers people to invest in AS1M through maybank2u. ASB is for bumi only...usually gets around 7% dividend..Is this 1 of the ASB funds that managed to provide 6% annual dividends consistently ? Non-bumi only allow to buy ASM, AS2W and ASM, which usually get 6% dividend. Dividends for all fund not guaranteed consistent..depending ao annual earning. ASNB mainly invest in equity. AS1M now renamed to ASM3... Sometimes bank offer bundle...means u have both FP and VP...better avoid this bundle offer..normally don’t benefit much.. If u want to open new ASNB account, below is the steps u much follow, as of today’s procedure: Step 1: bring IC and RM100, to any ASNB or major banks eg Maybank, CIMB, RHB etc. Step 2: Tell the counter staff, that u want to open Fixed Price (FP) account only. Say big no to Variable Price (VP) fund. The staff will try toopen at least one fund, either ASM, AS2W or ASM3. Once successful, now u have ASNB account number. Step 3: Once open ASNB account, register MyASNB online portal (www.myasnb.com.my) and you may open other FP account online and top up online. No other short-cut as of now. U must follow above steps. Good luck This post has been edited by veera77: Nov 23 2018, 01:05 AM |

The Yippie account seems have withdrawal limit in order to enjoy 3.15%...similiar like SSPN...thats why i deleted the post...may be not suitable to park $ temporarilyalways find loophole for maximum benefits seriously didn't even think about using the account for parking purpose... 2% or 3.15% is way better than normal CASA rate |

QUOTE(vanitas @ Nov 23 2018, 09:16 PM) That one is the country where veera7 working, can take zero interest loan for any purpose. There is 5k interest-free loan for B40 Indian to invest in ASM3...but u have to apply to SEDIC, JPM..seems its not transparent enough and looks more like political sweet.. Anyway, I think Indians can take asm3 loan last time. Now not sure. On a side note, really got people report me. lol... Don't want talk anything liao, become silent reader again... I emailed SEDIC few times to apply for relatives but no reply...i think they want people to bend-down to them to get this 5k loan |

It was 30k loan, no? https://m.malaysiakini.com/news/412016 Anyway, now still got? [/quote] Indian ASM3 30k is not loan but allocation...means u could top up freely upto 30k without ‘unit unavailable error 068’..after 30k reach then as usual depending unit availability. Anyway, ASM3 Indian quota usually have unit availability...easy to get even without all above political gimmick.. This 30k still available i think...i don’t care much on this political sweet..i usually top up ASW2 and only use ASM3 mainly for kids account if can not get AS2W unit. |

QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Nov 24 2018, 09:27 PM) Depending what is FD rate when ASx 4%...Basically ASx is an alternative to FD, with higher return at similar risk level. FD rate depending on Bank Negara OPR rate...OPR depending to country ecomonic data...better the ecomonic data, higher the OPR rate and FD rate... ASx accumulating stock and trading stock at different entry price....ASx may still holding Nestle stock @ entry price RM50, Public Bank @ RM15...and more...so ASx easily could selectively realised profit from old cheap stock... Thats why many still prefer ASW2...bcoz they might holding stock at cheaper entry price..higher buffer Just my humble 2sen.. |

QUOTE(samuraix79 @ Nov 25 2018, 05:37 PM) Sorry guys if my off topic got this forum into hot water, while many here can get 4-5 digits a day, for me a week can get 4-5 digits consider good for me, so to reach my quota a month my cash in account is idling so I thought of discussing how does other sifus keep their cash without it staying stagnant while waiting for units. Probably this should b under finance management forum not necessarily ASNB. Again, my apologies if any got reported due to me going off topic. While waiting to deposit in ASNB, If u want to park for more than one month..then FD is best choice...u can use 1-month auto-renewal option. If less than one month...then better keep saving/current account.. Or if u have ‘full flexi home loan’..then keep in mortgage account and u could enjoy daily interest saving...but check with your banker, type of ur mortgage account and flexible in transfering online excess amount...
