KUALA LUMPUR: As at Jan 1, 2019, banks must report any cash transactions exceeding RM25,000 in their daily cash threshold report, a reduction from the current RM50,000 limit. I think mainly for third party inbound/outbound trasaction...if we transfer between account under same name shouldn’t be issue... |

Sometimes i remit more than 50k from my overseas account to malaysian local bank account but both account under my name...nvr get call fr bank

Online transaction already being monitored and easily flagged, so they won't bother much. |
