Wish to buy Digi Infinite 100 for home using, cause my place still no Unifi Fiber Optic.
I check my home Digi speed around 10-16M only, so i100 should be enough.

So any 4G router recommend? happy.gif
I'm looking for Huawei B310AS-852, but this item no have VOLTE, actually how to use the VOLTE? buy a phone connect to it? or can using smartphone connect to using VoLTE?

Oh yes, is Digi Infinite 100.
Infinite 150 with no cap, but my place Digi Maxis Celcom speed not so fast, all around 10-20M only.

RM38.00, same data plan + unlimited call. (Unlimited Data and speed 10M?)

Why not get Huawei B618 instead? It has VoLTE with the 65d variant and you can connect a DECT phone to make phone calls
*

Yes you can fully utilise the unlimited call function using a simple DECT phone. Panasonic or Motorola brand is quite commonly used.
You cannot use your smartphone to connect VoLTE but you can insert your Infinite 100 sim into your smartphone and make phone calls from there
*
Panasonic or Motorola brand, OK will try look for this item. happy.gif

I think for home use on a 4G/LTE modem, it's better to get Infinite 150 due to the unlimited tethering quota
*
Infinite 150, dont know my small town can up to high speed or not. and 150 price high abit. laugh.gif
last time my friend test Infinite 150 on Dlink DWR-921 150Mbps 4G router near my side, morning can up to 60-70mbps, night 10-20mbps around.
If use Huawei B618-65D, dont know can boost up or not?

LAN to PC also counting in tethering quota 20GB for Infinite 100?

Huawei B618-65D has been proven to boost performance if you are already getting decent speeds, expect it to improve further. You also have the option of adding an external antenna if you feel the need to boost further.

Yes, even using the LAN cable to PC is also counted as tethering unfortunately
*
So Huawei B618-65D only suite for Infinite 150 loh.
by the way how about the Unifi Air? My place only have Band 5, saw some test 65D can boost to 20mbps at the other area have band 5 too, dont know my area how, ha.

Unifi Air RM79 only seen not bad for me. Digi Infinite 150 cost double it. @@
My area Digi got Band 3 and Band 7. both have 10MHz. check at cellmapper.net.

how about the external antenna use for? boost for low frequency area? put outside house?
any suggestion external antenna for B618-65D? smile.gif

If there is Unifi Air service available in your area, by all means that would be a cheaper alternative. I can't comment on the quality of Unifi Air service because I am not using it. I have been using Infinite 150 for more than 2 years and very satisfied with the service so far. You should actually test both to check their performance in your area before signing up.

They have Huawei brand antenna to complement the B618-65d or some others like the Yagi 4G/LTE antenna. Also depending on your budget.
*
My area i think Digi Infinite 150 would be more faster than Unifi air, cause Digi cell tower here got B3+B7.
Can me apply Digi Infinite 150 and try first? if line no good downgrade to i100 or cancel it?
Normaly outdoor Anthena for boost line more stable, right? smile.gif

You can try with a DiGi prepaid card to test the speed performance first. If you subscribe to Infinite 150 without testing, you will have to pay RM300 deposit which will be offset your first and second month bills.

You can downgrade to i100 later if you wish but if you cancel before the 2 months, you will loose the RM300 deposit.

So better to test and confirm with prepaid sim card before committing to sign up
*
Oh good idea, but is that any Digi prepaid card plan with no cap speed? laugh.gif

As far as I can remember, there is some speed cap for the DiGI prepaid but at least it will give you some form of indication of the reception quality in your area.
*
Actually last month my friend got take his 150 and Dlink 921 modem come my home test, night 8pm got 16mbps speed. he said morning maybe can reach 60mbps around. peak hours will low to 10mbps around at our area. maybe his modem not 2CA or 3CA, so speed low abit. smile.gif

Most likely it would not happen because DiGi already gave RM20 rebate to the long time i150 users, in which they only pay RM137.80 in total. Unless, they revamp the plan and come up with the new promotion next year
*
Infinite 150 new subscribe also got rebate RM20 now?

I am not sure if they still have the rebate for new users but they used to have it before, rebate of RM20x6 months. You can check with their customer service to confirm
*
OK thanks, will try call them. smile.gif

The speeds for the Infinite 150 should be similar to DiGi Postpaid give or take, if not slightly faster.
With the B618, should be able to boost your speeds close to 75mbps. Getting over 100mbps would be considered a bonus.
*
Friend use Huawei B310 + i150 get 65mbps.
B310 can do B3+B7 band? smile.gif
